The impression one gained as a casual observer, played out pretty well in the formal WC stats. Pocock was the king of the turnover....but Francois Louw did exceptionally well. My comment that the best thing about Allende's Welsh effort was his play on the deck....also seems to have been true. Here are the numbers for the WC....Louw bashers take note:

1. David Pocock (Australia) - 17

2. Francois Louw (South Africa) - 13

3= Damian De Allende (South Africa) - 9

3= Thierry Dusautoir (France) - 9

3= Leone Nakarawa (Fiji) - 9

6= Kieran Read (New Zealand) - 8

6= Agustín Creevy (Argentina) - 8

8= Davit Kacharava (Georgia) - 7

8= Akapusi Qera (Fiji) - 7

8= Sam Warburton (Wales) - 7

8= Scott Fardy (Australia) - 7

8= Richie McCaw (New Zealand) - 7

8= Mamuka Gorgodze (Georgia) - 7

Louw grew in stature throughout the tournament and was huge in the playoffs and against Argentina. He will remain an underrated and underappreciated player though.

Louw???

Your not referring to the same Louw who was taught a lesson at the breakdown against Japan ... are you?

The very same Louw who was entrusted with the task of securing good ball on the ground for the Boks ... huh?

The very same twit who forgets his role every second match and goes back to playing what's more natural to him ... bilndisde flank ... ??

Inconsistency is all he's ever been about. We've seen that time and time again.

He is useless to the Bok cause. Should never have been in the squad to begin with.

Hopefully we've seen the last of this chump.

Go Jaco Kriel!!!!!!!!!!!!

 So the only backline player among the listed players is De Allende - him with the weak upper body strength and poor play accused by DF and Mozart for being a poor center player and a useless one at that.
Makes one wonder about what the whoile issue si about - personal doislike and prejudice maybe?
Where is Schalk Burger and Vermeulen in all that?    .

Very impressive from a backline player! Well done De Allende! Very surprised not to see Hooper on that list!

 yes its the same louw that has been schooled for the past 5 odd years.....
do nothing for 5 years and suddenly he comes to live for 2 games now he is the best thing since sliced bread.
louw is still the poor mans brussouw. brussouw is the king of the dirt and jaco kriel is twice the man louw is.

You must know that there is nothing more improtant to Mozart than 1 incident in a match.  His favourite after that is one match and third favourite two matches.   Those three are all career-determined.
Jannie was useless in Super Rugby - had two decent scrumming matches in tests in the RC and became according Mozart the top player at 3.  Since then Jannie could do no wrong cards and all.  That is the way Mozart assess players.  Obviously his min dislike is for any player a selection candidate possibly in contention against one of hsi favourites.  So expect nothing positive ever by De Allende, Malherbe and De Jager. be favourite
