Matt Proudfoot should be the Bok scrumming coach

The Stormers scrum is the best S15 scrum of this year, and the best South African scrum for many a year. Proudfoot has got Kitshoff into an aggressive scrumming mode....witness the  demolition of Marcel van der Merwe he and Kebbel orchestrated on Saturday.

Malherbe and Koch are also doing well, although it must be said Greyling is simply not competent. I also worry about Malherbe's ongoing penchant for sprawling on his face, not just because Greyling is a noted belly flopper.

Proudfoot is getting the best out of these chaps and installing the Stormers with destructive purpose...watching his reactions he is very much in tune with every scrum. And he seems to be pretty astute....why not use Matt to do the same thing for the Bok scrum?

It would all carry some weight if Kitshoff actually did demolish Marcel v/d Merwe.....but fact is the Stormers have one hell of a set of forwards to choose from, there is nothing close in the competition.

Kitshoff (120kg) was always that good, you just failed to recognise it.......add the impressive Malherbe (122kg)and new finds Kock (118kg) and Kebble (127kg) and you have 4 very impressive props to work with.

In Scara and Mbonambi you have two solid enough hookers, slightly on the small side, but is Scara you have a good ball player.

At lock they have 3 of the best and biggest locks in the competition. Etzebeth (125kg) right now is the best lock in the game, he is on fire. Add the impressive Ruan Botha (120kg) and Jean Kleyn (120kg) and you have 3 massive locks.

Behind them you have monsters in Vermeulen, Elstadt, Schalk and Rhodes......with the pace and agility of Kolisi and Carr

Its one hell of a set of forwards to work with......most test sides would like those players on board.

Bullshit, Kitshoff, Etzebeth and Malherbe were injured. Ruan Botha and Jean Kleyn never got a look in.....Kock was not on board and nor was Kebble or Mbonambi or Schalk.
