That would be the barking dogs who thought the Boks were doomed after Japan....special highest honour goes to the Pervert who thought the Boks would not make the knockout games and predicted a loss to Samoa. He wins the Golden Egg. Special mention goes to Fat Dave who thought Stephanie was impressive in his outings

The most deluded poster ever was the idiot Mozart who supported the inclusion of duds like Willem Alberts, Morne Steyn, Jannie du Plessis and Victor Matfield in the Springboks squad. All massive failures.

Oh sure guys that played a total of 99 minutes of the 2400 minutes played in the active knockouts were the problem. That's 4% of the total minutes played. Morne actually played no minutes except as a brief sub in the pools and he was a "failure" Pervie's mind. Funny stuff from the old peeping Tom.
03 Nov 2015, 01:27#6
At least Moz' failures made it to the RWC. Unlike...... Uhmmmm what's his name again? That chappy that is made of glass? Glaasen or Goosen, is it? The one who used to play second fiddle to S.exton's back-up, who will now be playing second fiddle to RM's fullback, because they have found a second fiddle to the back-up of S.exton's replacement, Dan Carter.

Exactly - they were not allowed to play more because they were too piss poor in the first instance to be in the squad. After the Japan disaster by the "most experienced team" ever - Meyer himself realized that they were duds whom he could not trust to even play from the bench. That is why he panicked and minimalized their usage - he could not take a chance that they would not (like happened in the Perth test in 2014) - sabotage the whole campaign by engineering a loss against another country in the pool games.

Actually no...Matfield, Jannie and Alberts all struggled with injuries. Morne was left out for the useless Lambie whose one plus was that he really is a fullback.
Goosen was in France.

No I would not have left out Vermeulen because of his massive performance history over the past year. But I would not have included players with a dubious performance record prior to their injuries and their injury history over the past 14 months.

Nithing wrong with Du Toit. Dr Mozz having got it so wrong re Malherbe, lood, Allende and Kriel why not pipe down now re Du Toit. Avoid more EGG landing
Plus the fact your great emphasis in experience crashed against Japan. Plus it is clear to all that Meyer's dom rugby sucks - something you have not grasped.
No.plenty of EGG has landed on the three egg magnets. Very poorRWC form. Hahahahaha

Nothing much right with du Toit....tossed around like a toothpick, with 40% missed tackles. He makes Lomp look good. As for Malherbe he missed opposing Crockett by a stroke of luck and missed Ayerza by a bigger stroke of luck. So he scrummed against two ordinary looseheads ....and avoided penalties via a ref who seemed inclined to ignore his knees on the deck. Still even the weakened Bargie scrum rolled him up a few times.

You missed the whole point altogether. Crockett was even dropped by the Crusaders because his scrumming was illegal and he is better known for giving away penalties in scrumming than getting the upper hand in that department of the game. That shows what you really know about the game - you re indeed a deluded idiot.
I know the Ayerza excuse would flow thick and fast here. But then the weakest scrummer ever against Ayerza was Jannie du Plessis in the RC last year. He broke the speed record in reverse gear in scrumming, So Mal herbe could not possibly be worse than that.

Not reputation at all. He always was and always will be a great performer in games. The real duds were the rest of the hospital ward cases whose performances were either non-existent or under par.

PSDT was off in for quite some time. Same with Alberts, Fourie, Jean and Coenie....and Thor. I would have taken Thor anf Fourie and left the rest at home...yes, even Jean after the jaw fracture.
Thor played almost the whole S15 and only missed out on the last few rounds. Huge difference. One can risk it for a special player in times of great need, not risk it with 6 players.

Coenie and Stephanie were not good enough. I had lots of reservations about Jean but he had a very good game against Samoa....he would have helped our cause vs the impossible to spot Kriel. Thor and F du P were worth betting on. Alberts got hurt again, and never had enough playing time to round into top form.

Lets face facts - De Villiers was poor against Japan and just about above average against Samoa - despite all the hype he was not "pretty good" as stated by you.
You are an expert in lying and I lied about nothing while it constantly streamed from you. You and your equally stupid sidekick Ceradunce cannot comprehend that performance is a requirement for team selection - and you BSed regularly with evaluation of performance. It goes way over your bird brain thinking on rugby issues.
You just did not want to expect that all the reputation players you supported when Meyer selected them have been failures in the WC .
