Nonu was better than SBW
Whitelock did nothing of note all WC, Lood was better as was Thomas of Argies
Hooper was better than McCaw
Argie 9 was better than Davies as was Aron Smith

 Beast was the only loosehead in the tournament not overwhelmed by Herrera.
It was close between Nonu and SBW. But against the Boks SBW beat a tackler every second run....Nonu less often.....SBW offloaded twice Nonu turned the ball over once. Given Nonu's opportunities I believe SBW would have been even better. But aren't you the guy who said Nonu wasn't very good?
Whitelock's lineout performance won the semi, just as Lomp's inexperience lost it.
Hooper better than McCaw is absurd....Richie was a master, Hooper physically dominated. He missed 27% of his tackles:

And then Reid vs Vermeulen. Head to head the stats were almost identical but Reid gave away the ball once and got 5 penalties. Vermeulen's power and skill got the Boks into the semi....he won that game for us:

The dolt at it again.  Beast did squat in the WC and he is selected by Mozart based on his Herrera story.   What a piece of deluded thinking.  The best no 1 in the series was Ayerza by some distance.  What a bloody foolish selection.
And then we have the BS about the number 8 position.  Only one no 8 stood out in this WC and it was nether of the two players listed - it was Poc ock.  
The worst evaluator insofar as performance evaluation is concerned - giving us his normal idiotic inputs is a masterpiece.   Kuridrani was another example of similar delusion.  H was in the main a average and in certain aspects a poor performer in thsi WC - so why him?
Spare us you advice on player identification and stick to what you are good at - total rugby ignorance - and you may yet learn something about rugby as a game by listening to what better-informed members write o n this site.  .    

        

 Actually Ayerza wasn't dominant against the Irish or Oz....it was Herrera. Beast is far better in general play as well. He hammered Franks.

I'd take Reid or Vermeulen over Poclock at number 8 any day....Poclock is an open side flank by trade.
Kuridrani average again I see. Well I'll admit there weren't many good 13s and I debated between Kuridrani and Bosch. But then I remembered how he splattered Allende to kick start the Aussie season and settled for the WC final try scorer.

 This is the worst ever posting - Kuridrani is rated based on a match not included in the WC as the current best center - what a farce that one is.  Kuridrani is rated on one incident s per normal with this idiot.  He was not the best center in the Super series and not even in the RC - where Fekitoa was better than him - so the one-incident idito at work again.       

 It's based on the season sunshine....where do you see best of the WC in the title ? As for Fekitoa he never even made the WC finals....not an option.

 Leone Nakarawa is a very decent lock for Fiji and if he played for one of the tier 1 nations, he'd be lauded a lot more than he is now

APD there are other lesser nation players I like, but it's hard for these chaps to make a real case because the standard steps up in the knockouts.

 Farcical statement by a confused idiot.  Kuridrani is rated based on a single match that happened outside of the WC - Fekitoa is eliminated because of only being being in the pool stages of the tournament.   The day this confused brain of Mozart clears up and he sees reality - that day we may get something of value from Mozart on this site.  

 Not exactly. Kuridrani was very good against us in the RC....and very good in the q uarters, semis and finals of the WC. Fekitoa was not able to make his national team for the matches that count. This is the best team...hard to argue a player belongs when two centres were preferred by his own team.
Below I supply Kuridrani's stats against us in the RC and against the ABs in the WC final. Two big games against the toughest opposition. He scored tries in each and defended well. In a world of undistinguished 13s Kuridrani was best.

 Moz, the best balanced TOTRWC I have seen to date. Yes some debatable picks, but only marginally so.

 Draad I tried to pick players from lesser nations, but in all honesty I never knew them that well....and had to defer to players who made it happen in the knockout stages. I would say right wing, scrumhalf, eighth man and number 5 lock involved some deba te.

 I would like to see a match between 2 teams chosen like this.
Take the 2 match day 23's of SA and NZ, let Meyer and Hansen take turns picking any one player per turn, untill we have 2 teams. Then give each coach the other one's team to coach for a week. Next week you keep your backs, but exchange forwards.Pipe dream I know.

 Oddly enough the two losses we have incurred against the ABs in the WC...2003 and 2015 have come because they dismantled our strength. In 2003 we had a massive pack, said to be a monster scrum....Sommerville took Bezuidenhout apart. This year Lomp and Etzebeth were supposed to rule the air.....Jaws, Whitelock and Reid out jumped them.

 It was bad calls from Lood and Vic. Why try to be extravagant from the get go?  Be solid up front, put them under pressure,  use variation before getting too bold. One would have thought that a expert like VM  should have recognised this when he came on and first let things settle down a bit. ..no, delusions of grandeur set in.

 Jordan Speith is now the best pressure putter in the world, but he still misses the occasional three footer....it's sport not engineering.
