When Thabo Mbeki was on my insistence given the Freedom of the Municipality before he assumed the role of President - he came to the Municipality and when his main speech was delivered he said "Here is my speech considered it delivered" and handed over the speech to the Mayor.   Then he said in front of a crowd at the Nkobongo community center that was a joint effort of ABS, the Department of Community development and the Municipality - negotiated by me - that "T oday I have seen for the first time the New SA we are striving for".
I did join the ANC after that meeting and remained a member as long as Mbeki was President - when Zuma became President I stopped being a member. 
I have never done anything in negotiations with the private sector to the detriment of the Municipality and today I am a poor pensioner.    If I was on the take that would never have been the case.  There were many developers involved and that makes a few tickets for rugby insignificant and shows up the real BS stemming from Mozart's contributions.   He is plain and simple a person with an evil mind and a worse disposition because he cannot stand it that I contradict all the poisonous rubbish he spouts on this site.

It means (at best) that great (sic) SA teams had a habit of including one jewish player.
Does not mean that Jewish people have a strong tradition for rugby.

Similarly, the fact that weak (not to hurt people's feelings on this site) SA teams have a habit of including SA non white players do not mean rugby is a tradition in SA.

 Mmm, now what is the one things SA has that those countries don't. Resources...Or sometbing else? And it could it just be that this "something else" is the reason why all the people from those countries flock to SA in droves...Just like they flock to Europe, the US and every other place that also has that "something else", hoping never to return to their native country.

It is simple: Capetown. This is what the mentioned countries do not have.

Work is consumption of resources. Without resources, there is no work.

People usually move along the resource flows, people follow the resources, and this, for millenia.

Why do people move to certain parts of Europe or the US? For the same reason they migrate toward Saudi Arabia: they are large hubs for consumption that receive huge inflows of resources.
For the same reason people move from rural areas to urban areas when resources were channelled toward cities.

As to SA, as already mentioned, the resources from the lower half of Africa are funnelled down toward the southern tip.
As the resources are moved, people from the corresponding countries are also moved.

This gives to SA a geopolitical weight and this is why China, India are competiting in SA with Europe and the US. To determine which way the flow of resources that are channelled down to Capetown are going to be despatched.
East to feed Asia or West to feed Europe and the US.

This situation is not going to last long as there is a battle to change the direction of the ongoing flow. So far the main direction is North-South (as it favours maritime powers)
Of course, centra Asia ( Russia, China, Iran and India) would prefer to get a west-east direction.

Places on the East coast of Africa like Kenya are reasonable locations to take the position of SA.

This, of course, if they manage to beat the incoming depletion of resources in Africa, which also means that outgoing flow of african resources will lose any relevancy.

It was stated already: SA depletion of resources is nearing. No longer easy deals to be made.
The other SA advantage is also going to the drain, its position as a hub for mass transportation of resources is short lived.
Either because of geopolitical forces or because of depletion of resources on the scale of the continent.
