Woke up to a big change in the weather, yesterdays brilliance is being replaced by a grey day and overnite showers. Wifey and I have just had bekkie in the hotel restaurant…yet to see the Boks my guess is that they,ll eat in a private lounge room in the hotel. The weather is not impacting on the buzz of excitement building to the game with plenty of Bok fans about the place. This city continues to impress with the friendliness of the locals, the architecture and places of interest. One of the many bridges crossing the Tyne reminds me of a mini version of our own Harbour Bridge. Anyone who likes old school English architecture will love this city. Sydney and Melbourne have been influenced by english architecture even though it's only on a small scale. I'll be hanging around the hotel lobby all morning hoping to snare some photos while wifey goes shopping, I'll also try and get one of the Boks to throw in a few words of their own under my nick.
My tip is the Boks by 12 points.

 Bismark has just stepped into the hotel lobby, not looking good with his left foot heavily strapped….perhaps precautionary as he seems to be walking freely.

 Jannie just stepped out of the lift…kisses the misses/fiance(?) goodbye, she heads to the restaurant while he hops into a car.AJust saw PSTDT…awesome

 Holimolli….Just had a shot taken with Fourie Du Preez!!!! …and just missed out with Step Du Toit!! Fourie and Ruaan came out together with their littlies and are sitting a metre away.!

 Seems like FDP has mum and dad with him and his son has a huge no9 on the bak of his jumper. I'm hoping to have a photo taken with my hero, Schalk….yet to see him….it\s been bloody awesome thus far but that would be the cherry on top.

 Not seen the thin legs of De Allende?  Sounds awesome.   I think Jannie got married a some months ago - remeber reading something like that on the on-line newspapers.

 The foyer is abuzz with fans and Boks, families and friends…..with 3 lifts operating it's damn hard keeping up with new arrivals!!! Still no Schalk…..Riaan, wife and littlies just went up to their room...

 The buzz is unbelievable as the foyer fills with fans. I'll be heading of shortly to enjoy the festivities adjacent to the stadium. Just a pity I won't get a shot of Schalk.
