maybe swys to stay at the lions as we dont want to lions to be effected
ackermann with eddie jones as his assistant maybe ??? maybe a carlos spencer as the backline coach and even a attacking coach as well would really give us the structure to create a style that will make us unbeatable
we are the only country to not have a attacking coach in the world at the moment and looking by the crap we produce on attack its more needed than anything at the moment

No because I hear Swys is the brains behind Ackers so if it's only one of them for the Boks then it has be Swys.
But more to the point.....country takes preference over province so I'd have them as a pair

Their must be some brains behind Ackers, so it must be Swyss as he is the other coach.
We need a coach that can understand backline play.

thats always been the problem saffex....there is no sucsession planning at the unions so then a great coach leaves the local province as a net result suffers....for sa rugby to be great we need all our unions to be world class
for the boks we need eddie jones with a proven track record of international exp to give ackermann the support he needs. swys should continue in his current role and mould the next generation of coaches at the lions.....
we need to not only rebuild the players but the coaching infrastructure as well.

You need a guy.like Jake who understands traditional Bok strengthd and a guy like Eddie Jines who has the flair.
You want to build on.our strengths.
We have a number of astute ciaches and yhe shrewdest of rugby brains in Rassie.
Malket and Venter. Get in overseas attack coach etc.
BUT DONT BE SURPRISED IF LOUBCHER GETS THE JOB OR THE HAPLESS COETZEE. MERIT IS NOT THE ISSUE HERE IN THE GOOD OL NON RACIST SA.

Disagree Carpet you give the Bok job to the best candidates with no regard to the unions as Bok rugby far outweighs the unions. It's natural progression. You reward the next coach with the Bok job and the union that losses their coach has to move on.
There can be no planned succession plan in place for the losing out union as they will not have foreseen their coach getting the Bok job.
It's life you move on.

Meyer tried to develop a back-line & a more creative strategy but lost his nerve & retreated to 10 man negative rugby. Sadly it almost work, if it had worked we would have endured validation of such rotten rugby.

Jake would be fine with Eddie Jones. No question about it. Dont be dense snapster some imes you are clueless! However there are a number of candidates. You cant have a non enetitylike Lounscher as your backline coach. Quotas gone mad. Get in a world class guy!
However above all we must protest very much more whenever the down under sides crook us out as they habitually do.
Go Argies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
25 Oct 2015, 14:54#17
Jake is not the answer.
Eddie Jones is what we need.
Leave Acker alone. He needs a lot more exposure to coaching than a few seasons of Super rugby.
Give me a break!!
You're lost the plot Dave. Just like Kriel being the next best thing at 13 or Lood being a world class lock. It's all a little premature as usual and yesterday's match against the All Blacks exposed them as average.
Besides, I thought you said that JJ was the best 13 since Gerber.
What happened to change your mind?

its time we get a international coach in either a nz based coach or a eddie jones.
our rugby pattern is the real cancer and we need someone out of nz or aus to fix it....
its a long term job but we need international help to break this mindset
