It's bad enough that we can't win at rugby, now we're being humbled in cricket by Bangladesh.....what de hell is going on?

Lets be fair and give them credit.
They have a wonderful new fast bowler.
They are incredibly hardworking and humble.
Its more a case of them deserving and earning success than us not playing well.

Bangladesh are coming off a series win against India, so they are obviously not a terrible cricket side! But ja, we would expect to win easily against them.

Ag Blue.....looks like SA has become a nation of excuses. What's happened to our will to win and pride? I really don't give a stuff about India losing to them....that's India's problem and don't forget we're numero uno in Test cricket.

Not worth looking at - I think they are gutless. At least Louis Oosthuizen showed some class - but lost in the extra holes play-offs after ending up with 15 Under with two other players as well. Was a good show by him.

The "big" names and the "hyped" names are not producing. AB is on some mysterious "leave" or something. Amla seems to have lost his form for some reason and only made 18. Captaincy getting to him?
Duminy got a duck and QDK also failed................ again. He, like Amla, was useless in the ODI's and he seems to have carried his form over into the test series as well. He and Amla put pressure on the middle order batsmen in the ODIs.................... Wait a minute. Where did I hear that argument about openers putting pressure on the rest of the batting line-up before?

Denny, you are right. We have become complacent. We are starting to accept poor performances from our teams, even when there is no excuse for those performances. Post 1994 we, as a nation, had a winning mentality, and that has been eroded by a number of things, including politics and poor decision making by sporting bodies, administrators and coaches
You have me all riled up now!!! We should be winning, and we should not accept sub-par performances!

Why would we expect QDK to succeed?
21 Jul 2015, 15:18#9
Because Tokkie said so and that is a FACT.

blikkies
most of his runs have come on the harder pitches in SA.
I speak under correction, but i think only 1 of his 100s came in the sub continent

Early days still, when last did we play test cricket? Still lots of cricket left in this test and the season to come.
Cera, fair enough, Mike did punt QdK as the next best thing, but so did you, not?

I'm not writing him off either. And you are right Cera, he should never have been considered as replacement for Greame. Specialist keeper yes.

Without de Villiers the team is lost.....plain and simple.
