 Odendaal provided what Steppie can't...penetration and power. Moronic apparently doesn't understand the word absent....poor dope. Simon Borschardt says:

Nobody made any negative comments on Odendaal or Liebenberg - but your comments on Serfontein is not a sign of sanity at all since he did not play.    

Nice quote from you - but an absent player cannot be adjudged game, set and match based purely on the comments of a newspaper reporter after a single match by a player.
This is crazy stuff and the sooner it is realized the better it will be.

You're making a fool of yourself now Mike. Players who didn't play are discussed all the time in comparison to whoever filled their position. Or have you never discussed the benefits of Lambie over Morne Steyn after a game in which Steyn didn't play?

Sorry - the fool is entirely on the other side.  Odendaal had his first Super 15 game ever and to make a binding assessment on a player based on one game is just the most ridiculous statement ever.    He admittedly had a good game - and credit is due for that - but that is how far it goes.
To bring into the discussion another player - who did not play in the game and then went ballistic about what happened in that one game is equally ridiculous.  
Player assessments needs to be done over a series of games - not one game or one incident during a game.  Anyone doing anything else is being stupid .

 We have a number of good centers these days dispite uninformed comments by ab ASS.Serfontein, Jean, Stokies Hanekom, Vorster, Odendaal, Allende.Then guys who are showing up well include Sadie and Venter and Mapoe is useful.

Step is the equivalent of de Kock....hugely admired, but of very little substance. Odendaal may prove to be a flash in the pan, but at least he "flashed" once.  

 You have don a psychological evaluation of the personalities of Serfontein and De Kock?   Your whole assessment is based on prejudice and hatred of anything younger than 25 - so those are ridiculous statements - but that is to be expected from you.

Not if they play with courage....I don't rate hyped non competitors like Swiel, Steppie, JJ and Lambie, a guy who plays with guts gets my vote every time.

 I don't like hyped-up players who use their reputations and produce nothing performance-wise - like Matfield, Jannie, Alberts, etc.
They are the real non-competitors - they are physically not up to standard anymore  and being such - they cannot perform anyway. 
I can think of a long list of non-performers you supported full out last year or in the recent past so lets get it going:-
Juan de Jongh, Zane Kirchner, Jacque Fourie, Francois Steyn, Morne Steyn, Juan Smith, Willem Alberts, Bakkies Botha, Victor Matfield, Gurthro Steenkamp, Jannie du Plessis, Cilliers
Looking at that list it is strange that all of them - bar useless De Jongh and Fatso Steyn- are over the age of 30 years - so I really am not surprised by your support.   With you there are two norms that count - age and reputation - performance means nothing, zero, zilch. And then you cloak them under another illusion and that is that they are competitive - because you say so - despite their decreasing performance competence -not because their recent pe rformances showed any competitiveness.
