Following the Herald's story about Waratahs coach Michael Cheika approaching the referee during halftime of their match against the Blues last month, Sanzar launched an investigation into the interaction between him and Jaco Peyper.

The organisation today announced no further action would be taken against Cheika or Peyper.

The Herald have obtained a draft report of the findings of the investigation*.

Well, we all seem to agree that some of the rulings & investigations are puzzling.

JW, just another example of bent SA refs. You think they would've learnt from their pre-isolation disgraceful performances where they blatantly cheated so the Boks could win at all costs!Peyper should be deleted from the World Cup if he's on that panel and Cheika should have to serve his suspended 6 months sentence!

dafts as hatters Mike and totally deluded. What needs to be addressed is the removal of the kiwi refs at the RWC! Ditto Oz refs. What are they thinking!! We dont want another fiasco this time round ala the disgraced paddy o'brien and the notorious bryce lawrence!! Wha t a horrible scandal that was!!

All just another smoke-screen to draw the attention away from the fact that the "mighty" Blues team of the "great" Sir John Kirwan's team got a hiding....... again.

Cheeky Cheika ha not been let of the hook yet. Questioning the Sanza's investigation
Beeno: it is important to distinguish between fact based concern (kiwi well founded protest) & hysterical based paranoid rantings

Peyper and Cheika have to go, it's the only honourable thing to do!

What exactly has Peyper done?
Cheika went into the Referees area to ask for interpretations of the rulings. Apparently this is not allowed, but it is something that New Zealand coaches do routinely.
If Cheika has to go, then so do all the New Zealand coaches.

Peyper turned around a 8-1 penalty advantage to the Blues in the 1st half to a 9-1 advantage to the Tahs in the 2nd half......that's what he did!! Incompetent or a cheat, either way he should be sacked as a RWC referee.
