The quick tap penalty is just a way to get a soft try.
It would be better to get rid of this law and let the other team organise before the ref blows the whistle.
Today their was 4 medics on the field which may even have endangered them being on the field. The ref apparently told Jean to speak to his players, so no one was covering the field. They may still have been disoranized but it was clear everyone was not running back to their positions until it was too late.

Boks fooled once again by quick thinking opposition. They'll never learn...

Why do the Boks need to hold a team conference every time there is a break in play? This was a penalty. I haven't reviewed the footage again yet, but if there were still medics on the field I'd say play shouldn't have been allowed to continue until they were gone. Not sure what the rulebook says. But still, you have a penalty against you on your tryline, you don't huddle up. You watch the opposition. We've been there already in John Smit's days.

Yep!!!!!
Completely outsmarted ... again.
Seems to becoming a habit.
Just cause we're stupid doesn't mean that the rules need to be changed.
Next thing you'll be asking for uncontested scrums.
Grow a pair you friggin wimp.
