Pacific Nations Cup finals kicking off..

 Brycy I cant help but wonder if the USA will start kicking some lardy samoan butt. They are making progress at 7s.

Samoa will be the more complete side of all of them. Fiji and Japan are skilled in the backs but too weak upfront. The USA just doesn't have any talent, but can put some collective resistance through the pack. One would hope Samoa play clean rugby during the World Cup.

Brycy: I hope the Samoans don't scare Beeno too much he is a little fragile right now what with not winning any tests this year. One feels an obligation to be considerate

 Brycy: I read somewhere that Fiji beat Samoa in the final in an exciting game. I will download & watch it later.

 Brycy it sounds like Fiji have been discounted too easily in the "pool of death " At the very least I reckon they could be spoiler or king-maker .

 IMO Samoa still remains the best pacific team. They played without many incumbents who were on the field against the AB and showed they have a very well structured team (unlike Fiji or Tonga).
Tim Nanai-Williams, Alofa Alofa, Paul Perez, Tusi Pisi, Ole Avei, Census Johnston, Kane Thompson, Alafoti Faosiliva, Ofisa Treviranus were all missing.

By the way somebody knows what injury Nanai-Williams suffered and if he'll be recovered for the WC?

Samoa are favourites to reach the QF and their match against SA will be very interesting, an upset cannot be discarded and the saffas will have to do their best if they want to beat them.

Fiji will have one of the most dangerous backlines. Nemani Nadolo, Napolioni Nalaga, Vereniki Goneva, Talebula, Nayacalevu, Tikoirotuma are all very dangerous and experienced players, even with NH experience some of them.
But their forward pack lacks grunt and defensive structure while they are vulnarable at set pieces. This is going to be targeted by the rivals, specially the NH teams England and Wales, don't letting the Fijans to feed good balls to their backline.
Australia could have a harder day to beat them but I think the aussies will finally impose

 Tonga has no chance IMO against Argentina. The argies have improved big way these last years playing the RC and they are going to bring a very strong team to the WC. They will be tough to beat in QF
