 I think that one would be fitting for Mozart - not me.  He likes to dictate things on this site - I prefer PERFORMING SPORTSMEN as avatars on this site.

 He is lately being made into more than he actually was by conspiracy theorists, but he was a brilliant scientists that truely changed our world....but it must be noted that some of the research he did is still being classified as top secret by the Yanks!Edit: He died in 1943, but most of his really ground-breaking research happened 1910 - 1920. Why would research dating pre 1920 still need to be kept secret?

I'm impressed, Draad!!

And to say I had you pegged as a boertjie sitting on his stoep, sipping his brandy and coke, while watching his cattle return from the pasture fields.

Wasn't I way off ...

My apologies.

I do not recall who said it, but the person said that the industrial revolution was made possible with the invention of steam power. Steam power alone could not distribute energy in the form of electricity to the masses who at that stage was reliant on direct current. Tesla gave mankind an easy but very effective way to convert DC to  AC (alternating Current) and thus a way to transport energy over very long distances to every corner of the country.

Yes, he made several other inventions, but the AC one has to be the one that benefit mankind the most.

We are way off track... jokes aside between the conflict of good and evil...Moz and Mike are both good buddies... their fanatical differences are reaching a boiling point;

In the end... it could lead to this in rugby selections...afterall this beautiful game is only a sport... but it could end like the SS Kamp of Barlee and Taipan versus the evil Rooinek,Saffex and Beeno

We don't want this forum to end like this... lol
