The Perv confidently told us:

"There may be no rule - but the standard procedure of all participating nations is to take 3 Tightheads and 3 Looseheads to the WC. This is to cater for injuries and to always have two players in those two positions in place.  A replacement player is ruled out from the first ensuing game after his  arrival and no team can go onto the field of play without 2 tightheads and 2 looseheads  in the 23 man squad to play on a specific day.  That would not be possible if they have no alternate player  readily available
The same general principle applies to hookers, scrummies and flyhalfs as well."        Well the Aussies have just announced their squad with only 7 front row forwards, 5 props and two hookers. Once again Pervie is  Captain Disinformation. Fourteen and counting.....

Well with three players at each prop, hooker, scrum half and flyhalf....that's five positions where Perv wants three players, exclude the 31 st player and that means 4 positions are only covered by one player. It seemed nuts at the time he posted, and first squad out the box confirms that impression.
As for your brilliant squad Dave, was that squad 85 or squad 999?
