Placing the ball in the tackle

This is one of the things our teams don't do well. The rule says you are allowed to place the ball, you should do it to give the best chance of retaining the ball. Too often our players don't delay for support...or don't place it far enough to avoid the hovering fetcher. It happened many times today.
