 The more I think about the Wales victory, the more impressive it gets. 
Playing away against the home nation in their home ground, with 85% screaming poms. Injuries everywhere. Ten points down at one point. And then they pull that out the bag, massive respect to the Dragons.  I wanted the poms to win this one but Wales deserved it, great heart.
Moz, what did you make of Robshaws  decisions to decline the kick at posts in the last few minutes and kick for touch?

 I vaguely recall Robshaw making a similar blunder against the Boks a few years ago. And this was a blunder because it's not about the individual game, but qualifying for the Quarters. By eschewing the draw, they have in effect given the Welsh a QF berth unless Fiji intervenes or they beat Oz . And then their choice of a short throw which led to the touchline shove. It's as if they took the big risk by kicking for the corner and then took  least ambitious option.
Frankly bringing on Ford when Farrell was functioning very well at 10 was another blunder....Ford was ineffective and the commentators neatly pointed out Farrell's role in the Welsh try.

 The problem went wider than what was evident today - it already raised its head in the Fiji test.   The English side tends to fade out in the last 20 minutes of the game and the replacement had nothing to do with Farrell and his replacement by Ford.   
I would say that Mozart is at least correct about that decision of Robshaw made a similar mistake against the Springboks last year,  when conversion of a penalty was all that was needed to draw the match with the Springboks - who had a substantial lead earlier - but the lead was decimated because of Matfield's inadequacy in Tight 5 play.  Robshaw decided to kick a penalty to the corner - thinking that they could repeat the rolling maul dominance they had earlier.   It did not work out and the English could not score the try they needed to win the match.
Robshaw was lampooned badly in the press afterwards and it is likely to happen again after a similar mistake was made again.
As to the English - they really are in a twang after yesterdays loss,  The game against Australia is a must-win situation.  If they lose against Australia - they would be out of contention for the play-offs especially if Wales manage to beat Fiji.  I frankly cannot see them beating Australia and Fiji winning their game against Fiji.         
        

As I remember it he made a scrum call against the ABs the previous week when the points would have won it for the proms. Against us he twice went for the line out against our tight (3 in your eyes) as vic and bakkies were playing. Didn't work out too well for the poms as they were twice repelled for a Another Bok victory. Last night he made yet another bad call.   His on field decision making needs to be questioned.       Mike your continual vilification of Matfield is quite sad.

I did not vilify Matfield at all - he was a serious liability in that game and even got a yellow card because he was not effective against a rolling maul be the English.  He was very bad that day and that is a fact.  Stick to facts please - I never ever said that bakkies did not contribute to Tight 5 play.   Bakkies always contributed, but in the end realized that he was not competitive anymore and retired from international rugby.    
I support a good rating for him on his display yesterday - but his relatively early replacement was a blessing - since De Jager was much better in Tight phases of the game.  
By the way the reason for the better performance later in the game yesterday was the fact that both De Villiers and Matfield was replaced fairly early.   Both the replacements was an improvement.

Are you too dim to realize that the English team that day used rolling mauls to score tries and in opposition to them Matfield was pathetic as part of the Tight 5 - remember he got a yellow card as well,  It is highly unlikely that Robshaw did not observe that deficiency and thought it did presented England with another try-scoring opportunity like earlier in the game.  
  

  yeah, it was an impressive win by the Welsh, playing at Twickenham and with the sort of injuries they had before the match and those occurred during the match,..... really impressive.
They beat the English in the breakdown area and from there they built the win. Robshaw is not an openside, he's a blindside playing at 7 and this weakens their breakdown game. Against Pock0ck, mainly, but also Hooper they will have the same problem.

Wales, on the other hand, will have to face a serious issue with so many injuries in their backline. Now Jonhatan Davies, Webb, Halfpenny, Eli Walker, Scott Williams, Liam Williams and very probably Hallan Amos are out. Seven backline players injured is a very high toll for any team.
But i think they'll be able to beat Fiji and classify.

 Bbf speaking out against the rediculous inclusion of pap matfiled 105 kg and 38 yers old is the duty of every Bok supporter wanting the Boks to be at their best. Why should we be fielding a tight 4 when we have a superb lock in Lood who outperforms pap victor EVERY TIME.

 I was watching the English props in that game, they just staggered from set piece to set piece occasionally getting penalised for not supporting their considerable weight. Not the kiwi approach to forward play at all. Even then they were worn out.
