This week's one if great Nice team of the week...
15. Israel Folau. Tore the Rebels defence to shreds from the
back. Week in and week out, Folau is showing the rugby world what all
the hype that surrounds him is all about.
14. Cornal Hendricks. Ruan Combrinck and Francois Hougaard were good as well but the bok number 14 showed his skills and class.
13. Samu Kerevi. Was an absolute nighmare for the Hurricane defenders to try and contain. Monstrous showing. Bubbling under - Lionel Mapie
12. Damien de Allende. Despite getting limited chances in an armwrestle of a match he showed glimpses of how dangerous he can be.
11. Tim Nanai Williams. Nadolo
was huge for the Crusaders but Nanai-Williams was incredible with ball
in hand. He brings a whole new dimension to the Chiefs team on attack.
10. Elton Jantjies. The Lions pivot seemed to break the defensive line at will.
9. TJ Paranara. Dangerous as always. Always backing up on attack and defence. Bubbling under - Faf de Klerk.
8. Duanne Vermeulen. Knocked a few balls on early doors but made some crucial steals and of course the charge-down.
7. Michael Hooper.
It is not veryday that one scores three tries but doesn’t get selected.
Unfortunately for David Pocock, Hooper was just emphatic against the
Rebels. Leads from the front the flanker. Seems to put his heart and
soul into every performance.
6. Morgan Tafua. Another busy performance from the burly number six.
5. Brodie Retallick. Showed his best form this weekend. Top performance.
4. Eben Etzebeth. The big Springbok bruiser seems to be getting back to his best. Was a huge influence against the Bulls.
3. Frans Malherbe.
Has played second fiddle behind the impressive Koch thus far this
season. But Malherbe showed why he is part of the national picture as he
and Kitshoff dominated the Bulls pack.
2. Stephen Moore. The
Brumbie skipper puts in the one big performance after the other for the
Brumbies. Moore never seems to be out of tune or off colour. Super
consistent.
1. Steven Kitshoff. Kitshoff is now a regular in this side and it is hard to see him being excluded if he continues in this vein.
