Probably the last game for Matfield and Burger.

Matfield came on and gave away the penalty that cost us the game in the first minute he was on the field of play,   He spilled the ball in the last action in the game as well.  When I said he was going to cost us the game - I was deadly serious.
Poor Schalk will also be remembered as the guy who was stripped of the ball before the AB's scored their second try.
The game plan was very very restricted and consisted of the same stuff that they did in the Wales game.   
There was really very few positives in the game from a Springbok perspective The Boks scrumming was one positive and prove beyond a shadow of doubt that Malherbe is our best tighthead by some distance.  .
However, in the final evaluation it is clear that the AB's deserve their victory since their was nothing creative in the game and that was the final nail in the coffin of the Springboks.

 Matfiled also lost a lineout. He cost us the world cup. Nobody can dispute this.
In that last effort the show pony called the ball to himself and spilt it!
We can only get better. What is needed now is some brain power. Pity Eddie Jones for example cant get involved.

Before Matfield came on we lost three lineouts in a row. And Lood waving Kaino through cost us how many points again? Easy to pick on Matfield. We weren't going to break out from where we were in the last minute, no matter who carried. We didn't looked like scoring all game, in what universe were we going to run it in from 100m out?

 there was not respect for the ball to win the all blacks you need to score a few tries.....meyer has done nothing in 5 years time for a change in personal really...

Matfiled had a penalty we had turned around. That cost us the match. He only had a few lineouts and lost one. Lineouts are supposed to be his forte.
Big error playing wee matfiled. It has cost us the RWC.
We were moving the ball up and who knows pakie that inside their half we might noyt get a penalty.All I want to hear right now is matfiled is permanently retired. What a disaster he has been. We could have had Steph on the field with all that youthful energy and power. 

 Beeno, Matfield has to retire, he must realize he didn't help the team & he is 38 years old so no way he will play test rugby. From what I saw he had a very bad game. I will watch the game again but the was my first impression.

 its not matfield fault guys really.....the boks kick everything they had in possession....its not rocket science why the boks lost.
