Let me simplify things for you Rooi as we seem to have reached a stalemate - IF A SPRINGBOK PLAYER IN JUMPING FOR THE BALL HAD KNOCKED ON, WOULD BISMARCK HAVE PICKED UP THE BALL FROM AN ON-SIDE OR OFFSIDE POSITION?

I'm not trying to sound evasive, but this is a stupid question. You're asking me to comment on a completely hypothetical situation where only you know the circumstances.

In your made up situation, was Bismarck standing behind the player who knocked on or in front of him because that would determine if he was offside or not . . . but how on earth is this relevant to the real life situation where Dan Carter took a 22m drop out and the All Blacks recovered possession without a single Springbok player touching the ball?

Oh and theres no stalemate here, hakwa. It's been checkmate for a while but you guys haven't realised it yet!

Blixem, why are you battling to understand this?

@Rooinek. Don't even bother explaining the "applicable offside line" story, because there was no offside line. That is simply because there was no set-piece which is required for this "applicable offside line" to exist.

@Hakwa. IF IF IF. If your auntie had balls she would have been your uncle. If one of the Springboks knock the ball on and one of his team mates played the ball, then he is offside. This is the law that you are trying to drag in this time around:

11.7 OFFSIDE AFTER A KNOCK-ON
When a player knocks-on and an offside team-mate next plays the ball, the offside player is
liable to sanction if playing the ball prevented an opponent from gaining an advantage.
Sanction: Penalty kick

So, your knock-on argumengt is also not going to fly. Try another one, or give up.

@hakwa. That I have not denied for one moment. Go check my argument with my friend ou Maaikie on that subject. Now be a nice boy and accept that Bismarck did nothing out of the order in the tackle on Carter, and all will be fine. Even if he did get a red card for the elbow charge, then it would not have cancelled the first yellow that he got, that caused a massive disruption for the Springboks, due to them lossing Alberts as well.

Now would you mind dealing with the AB "thugs" like Nonu in the same fashion as you have dealt with Bismarck as well please? CHECKMATE.

That's not what I said rooinek ......what I said was that mine was an observation which was probably influenced by what the commentator initially said but that's not unusual, we can't all be at the game and form our own opinions but I didnt say he was correct.....commentating is also observations only he's in the chair and I'm in my armchair so Im still more than a little confused why this has become such an issue. I am confused as well. I cannot understand why there is still this crying about Bismarck being offside, when clearly he wasn't. Regardless of whether he was on or off side......it was a shambles from then on, written in the history books, cant be changed, some in here just seem to be having problems getting past it.  No amount of debate will change what happened not even God can change it.  And on the other thread, close the door on the way out?  Lol and who would you argue with all day (and night) if it wasn't for us loveable kiwis??? I, at least, still have my friend, ou Maaikie, to argue with. LOL

Cloudy, this thread was never intended to discuss the rights and wrongs of Bismarck's red or yellow cards, there are plenty of threads out there covering that topic, this was specifically about the claim that he was offside when he tackled Dan Carter.

As for the other thread where allblacknblue felt the need to tell everyone he was on his way, I have replied on there and as far as I'm concerned, all New Zealanders are welcome to post here. I'm not arguing with any particular nationality. You may not believe it but I'm actually regarded as being pro-All Black by many of the SA posters on here. Go see what morons like Smallcock, Baboon-ou and Sharktwat have to say about me whenever I say anything remotely positive about New Zealand or the All Blacks . . . who I have nothing but admiration for.

It’s truly astounding to what lengths they’ll go to justify his yellow and subsequent red card.

Thumb sucking seems to be their preference ...

I guess it’s true what they say … “ignorance is bliss” …

Either that or they condone cheating refs that favour them.

Naaaah … can’t be … not the New Zealanders … surely not … they’re a people of character …

Not in Chicago, its a bright new day! No you don't have to, but it's a good example of a player who appears to be in an offside position not being penalized because his team mates never touched the ball. And a try resulted so it was thoroughly vetted.

One thing that seems to be missing in all the non-kiwi poster is the acknowledgement that the All Blacks won the game. Maybe I missed it?

The normal first response is, well you guys won congratualtions (perhaps even we will beat you next time). This can be followed by the BUT statement but not if you are really a good sport.

All we got was the BUTT statement - pun intended and then a lot of threads like this one that focus one aspect of the game.

We are still waiting, lol

Perhaps the phrase "when hell freezes" over applies, lol

Well I'm sorry about Carter's injury, I have always enjoyed watching him play.....but rugby is a tough old game. Carter was one of the first to say there was nothing wrong with the tackle, but apparently he didn't persuade many of his fans. Nor did the IRB, so I'm not even going to try.

What is th purpose of this posting?

It just seems like a typical contribution from Rooineck, Aka Rooiass, Roipoes.

To NewZealanders, I would not worry about this fool.

Have a look at his other "contributions" and he is just here to antagonize other posters.

Next week his focus will change back to South Africa posters.

Rooineck is not here to talk about rugby, he is just here to irratate people which seems to be his purpose in life.

A perfect example is his posting on one thread, and then creating this thread.

This is a low life that unfortunately is allowed to breathe air in the world.

I thought exactly the same thing when I was reading this, Sasuke.

I'm not talking about whether I agree with the writer or not, but for TwatBok to try and pass this off as the view of the "Australian Media" is nothing short of pathetic. It's deceitful and indignant "supporters" like TwatBok who embarrass South Africans and give us a reputation for being crybabies and liars.

Sharktwat, that's the second time you've posted the same quote and the same picture . . . I think we get it now. Thanks.

If no-one is responding to your pitiful whimpering and pathetic little cries for attention then I'm guessing it's because they're thinking the same as me . . . why does this Sharktwat crybaby click on posts that make him burst into tears?

No-one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read my posts, Sharktwat. If you don't like what I say then don't read my posts or my comments. I wouldn't have thought that would be a particularly difficult concept to grasp. Run along now and try to be a big boy in future. Okay?

However I have noticed that you are stirring to try cause trouble, and I just don't want you to mess up this board like you have apparently done with others in the past.

Other bloggers that have posted far longer than what I have, state you have messed up allot of message boards in the past.

Why dont you piss of back to SuperSupporter or where ever you came from?

my two rand on bizzy.

bizzys tackle on carter was hard but clean, IMO it wasnt high, wasnt late, there was us of the arm and more improtantly it wasnt offside.
ceradynes explanation is not clear and well articulated, its also exactly how i interpert that situation.

bizzys 2nd yellow, was justified, but in the context of the first yellow, had a consequence which for effected the Boks big time.
i also dont think that bizzy was malicious with the elbow strike, just very reckless. when u watch it at normal speed, its so easy to see how that could have happened, nothing more then a series of unfortunate events which sunk the battleship.

would this have changed the outcome??? IMO hell no, bizzys absence isnt to blame for morne and pienaar playing a poor mans 10 man rugby game.

Hakwa, it seems to me that you are of the belief that Bizzy should be harshly punished simply because of the result of the fair and legal tackle on Dan Carter. Bizzy had no way of knowing he was going to pop Dan's shoulder. It was one of those moments that shift momentum in a game. Momentum shifts many times in a test match and its the team that handles those shifts and pressure the best that was always going to win this game.

Boks should have won a penalty from Bizzy's tackle, not received a yellow card. We should have been sparked by a big hit and tails up after gaining 3 points. Instead, Poite took the wind out of our sails and handed momentum back to the AB's.

If Conrad Smith is running to score a try down the sideline and JDV tackles him around the legs and Smith twists his knee and is likely to need surgery, does Jean now need to be punished because of the result of the perfectly legal tackle?

I hope you felt the same way when that lurch looking mother fucker Brad Thorn dumped John Smit after the whistle. That ended John's campaign. Surely a bigger result was needed there but not even a penalty.

Kiwi's who still think Bizzy's tackle was in anyway illegal, put a black jersey on him and a green and gold on Carter. Be honest with yourselves (honesty will not be something that comes easy to you)..How are you feeling now? I think that you guys are just sour grapes because a South African is going to win the yearly prize on "Smashed him bro!"

Lets move on from this now because IRB and rugby men a like have all addressed the situation as a shambles. Massive turning point in the game. Have yourselves a hollow victory. End of story!

@Boklogic, you are right in saying that I wanted Bismarck to be harshly punished for taking Carter out! And it is not because the ABs lost  and and also it is not because Bismarck is such a great player that I want Bismarck taken out by the cards! BUT we all would have seen a Test match won in style - a Test won by running rugby at it's very best! (not that Barrett did not excel when he came on)! The ABs really missed Dan Carter's vision and Dagg's silky running skills!

Of course we also enjoy "Smash them bro"! However, smash them bro has to complement running rugby at it's very best! Otherwise might as well watch WWW Wrestling!

Nice of you to acknowledge that Carter is an untouchable.

Really good of you to finally admit that ALL your previous posts on this subject were horseshit ... that you were fabricating as best you can ... looking for excuses to justify it all ... that you actually wanted the contest to be over with ... that sending Bismarck off would give you victory ... and that victory, no matter how gained was all that mattered to you.

Your an arsehole, hakwa!!!

 @Hakwa

Bro, Bizzy never tried to hurt Carter. He is just an uber physical player that was fired up for the game. How can he pull out or "soften up" in the tackle? He had an opportunity to snuff out an attack and he made sure he did. He was at full speed and he has a lot of weight behind him. Carter's resulting injury was never the intention of Bizzy. Guaranteed. His intention was to make the hit in mid field as Carter was isolated.Easy penalty and 3 points for not releasing. He was playing against the best team in the world. How can he not be fired up, passionate and physical? Had Carter got his arm out he would have been fine. Carter blames himself for falling awkwardly. Bizzy never broke his neck with intent. Carter met the floor like any normal tackle. That caused the injury. On another night he would have got the arm out and got up and jogged back into position.

There were plenty big collisions that night. There always is when these two teams meet but no doubt they respect each other and have a beer afterwards. Its just rugby and collisions are in the game. Bizzy is a passionate and hard man just like McCaw but none of those two possess near as much passion as rooipoes does for kids and cocks! I can imagine he too becomes a very "hard" man when he is in the zone!

I have attacked him, attacked his wife..Im running out of ideas on how to get this old bullet to breaking point that he will board a flight so he can come and meet this 13 year old, pimple face weed with a smallcock that he likes to dream of me being.

I have learned he has been part of every rugby board imaginable so I conclude that he must just be a shit stirring mouth piece that needs the net to feel strong because real life has schooled him time and time again.
