I've seen very little of Burgher Odendaal but it's been enough to convince me that he might be one for the future.

 Denny
He broke through the WP defence yesterday an scored a try.   It was close between Watermeyer and him for the 12 position.  Problem is he may be sidelined by Serfontein when the latter return to the team if he missed out in the WC squad and next year in Super 18.
Like the guy and is likely to do well in future.
I think we are developing a new breed of centers after years of stagnation and with Kriel, De Allende, Vorster, Hanekom and Serfontein also in the mix, the backline situation will be strengthened.
I also like what I saw of Ismaiel and Ulengo on the wing and there are other wings also beginning to show strength and talent.
The big difference between thee Bulls this year and the team humiliated by all and sundry last year relates to a drastic change in playing style and selection since the departure of Ludeke and the absence of Matfield as attacking coach of the Bulls from the scene.   Both were obstructing team development with a restricted playing style.  Matfield and Spies were poor - both as captains and as players - in the CC and Super 15 over the past year.   Much of the improvement in the performance of the Bulls this year is linked to Labuschagne as captain of the Bulls - his leadership and the performance example he set in the team is contributing in a major way to the successes of the team thus far this year.
