Sorry Shezza I am scrumhalf. I take all the right options and have a good break around the rucks as well.

Unlucky dude, I'm at my peak of 26 years of age! That's standard procedure for me too, only I've got a pretty hefty and accurate boot for an amateur from the ruck,

Nah Moz, dont worry about Chicken and I as a pair.....I'd knock him out in the first few minutes......we could get the meat cart on, get rid of the waste of space and get a real centre on the park to partner me........we dont need CHICKENS in our side.

As they say, I'd rather play for my mates than for the enemy

Saffex: strangely you look a lot like Jim Morrison in your latest avatar, lol  Looks good on on a rock stage but not such a great physique for a rugby center.
By the way Boklogic is going to be on our team so not sure why you will be knocking him out. I  mean it's not like he has annoyed anyone, I am sure he is a nice bloke
Mozart: Beeno has not yet declared the position he played, he must be off practicing his haka & eating a few steaks to build up his self confidence.

Saffex. I played all my age group rugby at 10. Then played 3 years 1st XV in grade 11, matric then post matric year. I finished school at 17 so I was eligible for a post matric year where myself and 3 other guys studied a sport science course and just played sport through the school. My first year of 1st team I played 15, second year 11,14 or 15. Mostly wing though and my post matrix year I started every game at 13. In NZL, I have played mostly 15 but 2 starts on the wing.
Before coming to NZL I played 10 for collegians in durbs. I just thought I would play centre as with u there, I felt we looked really thin in that position. If u were all we have, we are fucked!

Just win to tell the truth I am most put out. My good friend brycy was made captain!!! Why Moz overlooked me for the position is one of my life's great disappointments. Given my razor sharp analytical ability and reknowned rugby acumen I was the obvious choice though I say it myself. ou brycy MAY have other qualities but leadeship is not one.Having played center wing and flank I also am the ideal utility player although I was a dazzling 12. Place kicker also of reknown so step aside rooitwit points on the board is what the team needs.Cloudy I do have a hammy twinge so please book me in soonest.
Also please fire Dr Moz as the selector! I would also nominate windpomp as our number one fan.

Well it aint looking good for The Saff man.. Beeno is a 12..Saffex drops to the bench for the time being but expect him to fall out the squad completely...We cant even employ him as coach as we know the way he thinks about rugby.

I played many positions when I was a junior, probably one of the first utility players. My preferred position was to play in the back row, 8 to be exact, got shifted to lock because of my height, but then the rest of the boys caught up so I went back to play at open side flank. But this was back in the days when if you were big you were a forward. I skipped playing rugby at high school and started playing club rugby again for Lansdowne road in Ireland. Where I played centre for a couple of seasons.
My last club postion was flyhalf, but that was for a much smaller club, more like a sunday pub club.
If I had to pick myself based on my abilities then I would say 8. Got that hands of a centre, enough pace to keep up with backs and the strength to mix up with the big boys.

I am flattered to being placed at 10, but it was never my strong suit. Granted I could kick, but I never had a natural feel for the position. 12 was my strength, and even though my playing days are over, I am certain I can oust Saffex out with relative ease! If not for skill alone, then for athleticism and strength! Moz, with your keen eye for detail and balanced calm you surely are the only candidate for 10.

Can't say I agree about Moffie's eye for detail or "balanced calm" (there's a laugh!) but please note that the decrepit old coffin-dodger was born before the second world war so he's probably about 80 in the shade.

Sounds like with all the chest beating that is going on, a trial match needs to be held and we can then sort out those that talk a good game from those that actually know what they are doing.

Moz, I'm happy to sit on the bench

Beeno, nice to see you back on here!
Well, on your role on the team... what can I say... (must be positive)!!!! but so tempting. The mental image I have is homer simpson drawling & saying "must have bear". But let's say that I am sure you will get the role you deserve Beeno & we must rely on the wisdom of Moz in these matters. Y ou are in good hands
Ps talking of hands keep yours off Cloudy. I have made my play so game over for you dear Beeno

Well we have B eeno challenging JW for his wing berth, and challenging Rooinek as kicker. However, his well known proclivity to go walk about, gives the edge to the NZ flier for the moment.

I'm afraid we are still not turning up any top loosehead props....an abaundance of centres....and loose forwards. There are also quite a few posters who remain a mystery.

Moz, I think that there are quite a few loose head props on here but nobody wants to admit that they were the fat kid that played prop for the 3rds.

"our 1st XV will hammer you guys"
Dork, if the Kamp SS posters were allowed to count each mole as a player, I'm sure you guys could put together an entire rugby league of about 10 teams with complete benches, let alone a starting XV.
Unfortunately if you're not allowed to count moles, the Kamp SS rugby team will be more like a starting VI than a starting XV.

I'll come off the bench for Flash or Brycy... I think I should start ahead of Brycy though. I'm still playing Flank, and doing a pretty decent job at it! Season starts back up in a month!!

Oimatey at Lock? How tall are you, Matey? I don't vision you as a lock.

Far be it from me to shift Cloudy anywhere Flash....she seems to set her own course. And given your nefarious intent, you may just find the lineouts a bit taxing.

Can - 6'4". Playing weight around 250, so more Flip Flop / Alberts than Bekker . Working hard at an Etzebeth build - HAHA

Played lock all through school, but then moved to inside center when I started playing rugby (club) again a few years ago.

Center positions were already taken so figured I can play lock for this honorable side !

I'll be the ref and show total impartiality...

We would play by 1990s rules so stomping is fair game ESPECIALLY if lying on the ball at the back of the ruck....

sound OK??
