The limit of 31 man squad leads to some interesting debates as coaches end up selecting versatile players over specialists that look terrific. Some tough decisions have to be made & we will see which coaches get it right, which ones get lucky & which ones crap out.

Still dont see why teams are limited to only 31 players ,now we have the spectacle of Cheika trying to game the system with only 2 hookers .Maybe he reckons he might get a pass for his team and get uncontested scrums .

Not sure if I follow your angle but Cheika can game all he likes, he has to have a bench hooker in every game.
ps perhaps there's only 2 hookers in all of the country...LOL

Cheika has only 2 hookers and you need 72 hours before an injured player can be replaced so if a hooker is injured just prior to a game what then ? I think you need to nominate 2 players for each front row position and they have to be specialists dont they ?Moore has had a few problems with injuries and his back-up is a bit of a Kamikaze in the tackle .
