Kilted Kiwis John Hardie and Sean Maitland will start for Scotland in their final Rugby World Cup Pool B match against Samoa in Newcastle on Saturday (Sunday NZ Time).

Scotland first-five Finn Russell has recovered from injury to take his place in the side, while fullback Stuart Hogg and hooker Ross Ford are also fit to play as the Scots seek the victory that would send them into the quarterfinals.

Centre Mark Bennett is another returning to the side as Scotland make seven changes from the team who lost 34-16 to South Africa last time out.

Meanwhile, Samoa coach Stephen Betham made seven changes for the Pacific Islanders' final Pool B game .

The 26-5 defeat against Japan in Samoa's previous match prompted Betham to field new combinations in the midfield and among his loose forwards.

Rey Lee-Lo and George Pisi will form a new centre pairing, while Maurie Faasavalu, Jack Lam and Alafoti Faosiliva will be together in the back row for the first time.

Samoa, who will be captained by scrumhalf Kahn Fotuali'i, cannot advance beyond the pool stage.

Out of all the Kiwi players on the park, Nanai-Williams has got to be the best, always impresses me whenever I see him
