Sauron commanding the Boks to kick at posts when the obvious choice...on multiple occasions, was to kick for touch and take the lineout.
Ireland didn't win this game...the Boks threw it away.

We don't have a reliable place kicker. Then kick for posts when our lineout is our strongest weapon and Ireland's weakness.
We have the same dud midfield pairing that we already knew was a dud 6+ years ago.
We got nailed at the breakdowns because we have no one who can dominate there.
Willemse is the only back that looked dangerous.

This reff was shite, calls a maul but did he forget the rules. You can't life a players leg let alone the player in the air.
Then Rassie, for god sake. Pick a bloody kicker. You had 4 years and Manie is clearly not ready. You could have kept Morne Steyn in the loop. Why pick two old timers in your pack but you don't have the best kicker in the country.
Even Goosen with one peg had the best stats in the URC.
But Rassie loves the media and gambling.
We should have won this game. 11 points wasted on regulation kicks

Very close game thanks to us missing so many kicks 11 points just slipped away. Some needless errors and the biased ref did the rest.
Ireland got a veryycky win.
So on we go. I think Rassie will have seen now what to work on.
Dont think this match much in the broader Scheme of things.
Was at a pals house so couldn't guide the oaks through the game.

Steph, Libbok, Faf, Kolisi, even Mostert at times. It wasn't good. We don't have great players at our core. It showed.

Well everything went according to plan tonight. We know know most of the Irish Game Plan - not all but most - and we avoid each other in the Quarter Finals and meet in the Finals. What a Test Match. Amazing. Boks were amazing but I did not want you to win - big picture here.
