Saint-André: 'France must be strong'; Planet Rugby

Philippe Saint-André has called on France to match England physically when the two sides face off in Paris on Saturday.

France's pack went well at Twickenham in the scrums but they suffered at the breakdown.

England have recalled more or less their first-choice pack for Saturday's second warm-up match while Bernard le Roux and Damien Chouly come into France's back row.

France will be looking for a first win over England since the 2014 Six Nations and along with winning the physical contest, Saint-André hopes they will take more of their attacking chances, a noticeable area of weakness at Twickenham.

Scott Spedding, Louis Picamoles and Yoann Maestri are the only survivors from last weekend's XV.

"When you play the English, if you do not win the collisions then it starts to get complicated," said Saint-André.

"We know that we need to be strong in our impact and defensively.

"We also worked a lot on capitalising on our line breaks because at Twickenham last Saturday we managed several but lacked patience with the final pass."

 Should be a good game. I watched the last one played at Twickers & I can tell you the home field advantage for the Poms during the RWC will be very significant. The crowd was really overwhelming.
