This interesting team eschews the popular view, but spot on with the props. They also figured out its Etzebeth, not Lomp. A couple of small, old chaps at centre. But why not the Player of the Year is 33 years old

 Maybe in your dreams - since there is no message above.   You may be able to use yur edit button to correct that.  Know how to use that?
Remember about Burger as the ball possession loser in tackles - they were constant and started off against Japan with 4 losses spilled and ended up with a critical possessio0n loss in the Semi.   That made his performances very, very questionable and resulted in a rating of 5/10 in the campaign.
My problem - and it was not Burger's fault - was his usage as a stand-in 10 - which neutralized the proper usage of the backline.  A stupid and non-productive strategy.

 Your problem Perv is you probably think Societe Generale is a soccer  team. Your other problem is the team has superb credentials, so what's the point of yapping at me when this is it's genesis.

This glittering cast of XV players has been selected partly on statistics and scores while also taking into account the spirit in which they’ve played the game. The panel who made the final selection included former Rugby World Cup player and finalist for France Christian Califano, 2014 women’s Rugby World Cup winner Maggie Alphonsi, World Rugby's elite Referee Manager Joel Jutge, and from the Amateur game, Andrew McGahey, a youth coach with Cambridge Rugby Club. The Societe Generale Dream Team was unveiled by Jonny Wilkinson at the World Rugby Awards and the final XV can be seen on the video below.

Congratulations to all the players who participated in Rugby World Cup 2015 and especially to those who brought Team Spirit to life and make up the Societe General Dream Team.



Once again you get no joy out of the recognition given to two Bok players...what a fan you are Tokkie.

 If u searched every pundits best WC 2015 for the dream team u will most probably find one that has the following members not players:
Matfield, Jannie du Plessis, Pienaar and Mozart.

I am not sure whether the choices were made on the basis of performance or the spirit in which the game was played.   There was nothing wrong with Burger's spirit - but his performance was at times defective.  However, as I said that was not necessarily his fault, but the fault made insofar as the game plan was concerned.

 The only thing they got right was no pap kiwi forwards made the pack.Honestly a pretty useless selection.
Pick the Bok side with a bright coach and possibly weed out a few pla yers?

Sir Clive Woodward named a side recently as well that he thought could beat the ABs,,,bit of a dreamer really but this is his fantasy team with fantasy being the operative word...

Well you would have to be pretty stupid given Lood's stats, to omit him.......imagine being stupid enough to select Alwyn Jones ahead of Etzebeth or Retallick at 4.....about says it all.....experts my arse.
Conrad Smith had a very quiet WC, Kurandrani and Kriel were better, for a start

Reminder ...Lomp's stats in the knockouts were ordinary....he piled up the numbers in big Bok pool victories by hogging the ball. Fooling only fools.

Oh what utter crap...Loods stats were good throughout the WC....let's compare him to Whitelock in the semi....Lood 3m gained....Whitelock big fat ZERO.
Try again. ...Lood was huge....best lock in the WC by some distance.....evidenced by the stats
