It was the Sharks forwards vs the the Highlanders backs. Sharks forwards won.

Very concerning that our backs are looking so poor with ball in hand. Some of the dropped balls were below par, and looked more like juggling clowns at times

 Man did the Sharks make heavy weather of it keeping the H ighlanders in the game.A huge win was turned into a close game by endless errors.
Sharks had better get more accurate against the Crusties.
Steve Walsh blew a fair game I thought.
So both nz sides knocked out as I suspected. Hahahhahaha never mind kiwis there is always next year!

There were times in that game that made me wonder whether the Sharks really wanted to travel back to New Zealand.

 McCaw played with a cracked rip. I though t SA players were tough?

McCaw probably lied about that - with this cheating ability he is hardly the paragon of honesty. I wouldn't trust a word that comes from his mouth :-)

 JW we have enough quality to win the game without putting a players health at risk.  
Sgharkie the Sharks were over the Highlanders line was it three times or even more and Chavanga dropped the ball otherwise he would have scored. Other knock ons etc close to highlanders line. Squandered points like a millionaire.
Having whipped the crusties with 13 men I think the crusaders must be worried re the Sharks. I am worried about the ref. Will we get a fair deal. Chances are small.

At least Bryce Lawrence isn't around any more. Perhaps the Crusaders will try rush him back in :-)

 Congrats to the Sharks . Travel will be a big factor next week so I can't rate their chances after a less than convincing performance but I'm sure they will give it everything they've got.

Is young Reinach ready for test rugby. Didnt play badly but messed up a couple of times. McCloed looked pretty assured. Under rated player. 
Brycy the travel factor wont help ei ther. But if they can beat the crusties there will be no travel factor against warts. They have I believe beaten both these sides this season.

    Sharks had to exert themshelves to the maximum to beat the 3rd kiwi team at home. Congrats to both teams for the effort and the disputed match offered.

Sharks showed how the SA rugby is turning more and more tactically poor and lack of skills. Their rugby is reduced to scrumagging and bashing. When they had the ball in hand they didn't know what to do except to bash the defensive line. There are some very worrying signals for the SA rugby as JackPot pointed this week.

And this won't be enough to beat the saders. Saders forward pack is better and will dominate the set pieces which leaves the sharks without options.

 Yeah Abasquesfan I was gunna say they're totally screwed from here on in but I was just trying to be polite. Aussies looking like favourites to take it out this year unless the Crusaders can get home advantage in the final.

The highlanders tight five were massacred. 

Lol, look at beeno go! Poor hapless sharks could hardly win the game with the home field advantage; couldn't pass & catch to save their lives but even with such a poor performance Beeno is in full crowing mode It's not even his team (he calls them the guppies, lol)
