Just calling it as i see it JW. I take you disagree?

Would you like me to put a highlights package together for you?

Plum, if you are fair about your selections on what to highlight fair enough. By fair I mean look at the infringements of both teams. I doubt it is one-sided.
And to be fair, Beeno should put together his highlights ... not the ones in your hair Beeno the video highlights.

Planet rugby explanation of the game
A superficial analysis that panders to the sharks fans.
"Five minutes after the restart, Pietersen pounced on a wayward pass from Brad Shields, close to the halfway line, to give the hosts the lead for the first time. "

This quote does sum up a lot of what happened in the game, i.e. Canes attacked but made mistakes at critical times as their skills let them down today. Sharks played conservative rugby and capitalised on the mistakes of the Canes. Once the sharks were well ahead they opened up more. The poor handling of the Canes (which shows up in the high turnover rate) was partly due to the Canes having a bad day & partly due to Sharks pressure.
To interpret this game as a sharks showing they are a top of the league team or that the SA rugby is showing they are dominant is exaggerating a good win. It's what the paper do to sell papers.

My own prediction on Superbru was a disaster.  I predicted a 6 point win by the Hurricanes and gave the Sharks no chance.  Perhaps I should have been more careful, because the Lions got so easily beaten by the Hurricanes - but the latter win occurred as a result of the Lions fielding a seriously defective prop and their center combination was a joke.   Two intercept tries stemming from stupid Lions passing was also accounting for 14 of the Hurricanes points.
What struck me badly was the way the Chiefs and the hurricanes lost yesterday - both teams was performance wise bad.

CleverMike; the Lions loss to the Canes & the Canes loss to the Sharks showed us exaggerated results IMO. The Lions are a far better team than the result showed when they played the Canes. On the sharks win, I have already given my opinion.
Lions have weaknesses as shown but we will have to see how they go. In terms of their upcoming games, round 14 and 15 will be very revealing  The rest of the games are a pushover.
Round          Opposition12  Blues  (should win but Blues can pull of f an upset)13  Jags (should win)14  Bulls (more trad rugby against more modern game plenty of debate on the results we get from this one)15 Sharks - plenty of room for serious opinions & banter on this one16  Kings (easy win)17 Jags (again!! should win)

congrats to the sharkies, a good win over the landers in NZ. t hey took the chiefs to the edge and now theyve given my canes a right royal hiding. not too shabby when u consider the handicap they have with gold as coach.

- best game jp pieterson has played in last 4 years IMO.

- perenara tested my patience something wicked, luckily for my TV im a zen master, otherwise there would be a remote shaped hole in the middle of it.
if perenara is wondering why he was dropped for barlow in the important RWC games, its cos of his inconsistency. he went from great form last few weeks, to worst halfback performance in 2016.
who dafuq takes a quick tap from a penalty and then grubbers the ball into touch??? a F*ing r3tard is who,,, or tj.

- ref buggerd up two potential yellow cards imo, beast should have been yellowed for grabbing tj's jeresey when he took a quick tap from a penalty.
beast was no where near back 10 meters and IMO his jersey pulling had an effect.

the other one was when marshall took out movovo (i think it was him) who kicked the ball ahead.
he was penalised but it was ruled to only be a late tackle, it looked like he changed direction to run into him, and if that wasnt bad enough he clearly used no arms.

- while i was peed of with tj, i was very disappointed in julian saveas   effort.
he looked uninterested and lethargic. terrible performance with a weaker workrate.

- hurricanes scrum like the rest of the hurricanes game got pwned, i   was surprised by this cos the canes have been scrummaging well this  year, IMO theyre the best NZ team with the scrum setpeice, though u   couldnt tell by that game.

- end of the day the better team won, they way the sharks hustled        showed they wanted it more and their execution of the fundamentals   was better.
