Insofar as I am concerned the tip tackle incident was serious and Skelton was equally responsible for that.  The fact that he got away with a 2-week ban is extreme leniency in his case.
However, there were two other incidents of dangerous play in the same game by Skelton and those incidents were ignored by the ref and his assistants.   That makes the matter so much more serious than what was done in the Skelton case thus far.
There is a difference between hard play and dirty/illegal play and Skelton exceeded the latter part already.   He should be dealt with because going the way he is it will happen that he would cause a career-ending injury to some player or another.
Lastly - I think the referee was wrong in this case.  He said initially that he believes the incident warranted a red card - but then listened and adhered  to the comments  of the line judge and  the TV ref.   That was wrong on his part - he should have stuck with his original idea.   H e must realize that they would get off and he would be blamed for making a wrong decision in this case.

Too true Mike ,players who bend the rules or push the bounaries or wot-not are not the same as some fat prick using sly cowardly grubby play .And I dont really care who they play for ,like Hore who I despise for bringing the ABS into disrepute with his garbage. That fat git should have at least 6 weeks ,by tyhen he would have cleaned Sydney outta all the pies and cream buns.

By the way, Skelton is not alone in the fight to destroy the food supply chain.
I looked carefully at his latest pic and Skelton's partner in crime _ Fransie Steyn - is fat and putting on weight.  He and Skelton are serious contenders for the Eater of the Month competition title.
Fransie had a pectoral muscle injury and must undergo an operation - but I am afraid the doctors will have a serious problem - namely how to find the muscle in all that fat.

Extraordinary how Skelton got away so easy. Extremely lenient.
