This is the fun of being a South African.  If things go wrong don't try and fix it - just run off to the politicos to help your cause.  If you are not good enough and has flopped a number of times - go the same route.
Merit counts for nothing - your race is determining the norm.   Cosato is such a great organisation having expertise  in rugby - they are just amazing in determining of player performances.
It is clear they know who the five players were to have gone off to Cosato.  So lets say they are employees of rugby - which route should they have taken?  Certainly their is a legally acceptable route to follow:-
*   Lodge a complaint with your employer and if that is not dealt with to your satisfaction then
*   approach your player association to take up your complaint
*   if that fails as well the association can take up the matter with the CCMA
Do why run to a trade union organisation before going the legal route?  The answer is simple - you have no case, so turn it into a race issue and get the racialists in the ANC and Cosato to take up the matter as a racial issue.
It makes me sick - some of the players in Meyer's squad is there because of the quota system - they are even doubtful Super Rugby franchise players.   There are exceptions - but a substantial number is not the best in their positions in the country.

If your referring to this article:
http://www.sport24.co.za/Rugby/Springboks/Cosatu-condemns-racist-choices-of-SA-Rugby-20150811
then I have to say they make a lot of fair points. This is the worst Springbok side I can remember and its pretty much all white. Cant see you Yarpies doing much worse if you include a few black players. At least the whole country would support a team of mixed races. The Springboks could even improve on their world ranking of 5!

Agree with you about the worst Springbok side ever - but the  reason has nothing to do with race at all - and everything with the rubbish Meyer selected over the past three years.  Instead of selecting players based on performance - he ran to the so-called geriatrics and the result ultimately is that he has to field an inexperienced team.  We are stuck with the worst squad since Meyer took over - with no idea where to go next.  The inexperienced players are very promising but badly coached.
The problem in this case refers to racialism and usage of political pressure to get selected  - nothing else.   If that is the way you want to see SA go - rugby is on the way down the drain - the same way the country as a whole is going.   Meyer has done a lot of damage - the race issue will be the final straw that breaks the camels back.

Cosato probably contacted the black players.
With the Rugby World Cup nearby, their will be lots of exposure to get more political points.
This will be a great opportunity to rally up support by isolating the country along racial lines even more.
It is amazing how quickly the interests of the majority, are dropped though- like Zuma's house funded by the majority's tax payers.

This is the farthest thing from the weakest Bok side. The teams from 1999-2003 were inferior, even under Jake not much depth for most of his tenure. Skills et al increased dramatically from 2007 onwards.

His team are at rock bottom and the World Cup is on on the doorstep.
His reign until the EOYT last year has been good, but now a losing streak has well and truly set in.
Since then it has gone from bad to worse losing to Argentina for the 1st time ever.
Many of the established players are too old and injured, and the young players are to inexperienced. Many of his key players are in a race to be fit during the tournament
On Top of everything he is now being accused of using racial selection policies.

Wdaddy, we've problems that your oaks, or for that matter any other sports team on the planet will never be plagued by ...... where else would a player be removed from a semifinal in a major sports tournament cos of his ethnicity ( CWC ) ?

The ruling regime loves utilising big sports occasions to remind everyone who's pulling the strings now. Hell, we even had the dik head responsible for the removal of the Bok emblem on the jersey at RWC (moves close to the armpit), on the field at Ellis Park wanting to shake everyone's hand ..... boring, embarrassing & old-fashioned self-promotion . I'm sure we'll be hearing from them again if Meyer doesn't get racial mix harmony with the squad.

Not being hassled by petty yet damaging interference from politicians is probably why so many of our golfers perform so well . Understatement .... outstanding performances .

A real explanation is necessary.  Cosatu is the Congress of South African Trade Unions. There is a Tri-party  alliance running South Africa consisting of the ANC, the South African Communist Party and Cosatu.  The latter is the Trade Union wing of the ANC, organised on the same basis as the Unions used to operate in the Soviet Union.
In this case the matter was raised by Cosatu - since the direct interference by the Government as happened in the CWC referred to by blobbok - caused such an uproar - the Government does not want to be seen to be involved openly in the process.

Before Argentina they were title contenders now rock bottom? How fickle are you people? It's just like the Junior World Cup, the team was nowhere before the tournament started, doom and gloom. Then all of a sudden this was the most exciting quality team in the competition, the they lose and it's a case of them being hopeless and the downfall of humanity! Why are Saffers so autistic and bi-polar in nature? So emotionalky unintelligent and immature. Did it not cross anyones mind that the team selected was vulnerable? I'd been warning that for weeks, and the backline was never going to work, against a QUALITY opponent! I am ashamed of how stupid and arrogant Bok "fans" are. A little humbling will do you lot good. Meyer has kept this team 2nd for most of his tenure, he has developed the gameplan each year into being the most sophisticated of any SA team there has ever been. They don't simply become the worst overnight! That is truly the most ridiculous assertion. If standing toe to toe with New Zealand and Auatralia with ball-in-hand isn't good enough for yoy, then what is? If Argentina beat us more emphatically than either of the others, then what does that say about them? Are they rubbish that should never have won, or NZ and AUS inferior for not doing better? Or both!? Think before you open your mouths!!

Are you sure you wanted to post the above message under this thread?  There is a thread where Meyer's coaching had been dealt with elsewhere.

Well said Card. I have now watched the match and was surprised how well th e Boks played.I made a few notes and when I have a moment will do a scoreline adjusted for ref errors. The Boks win comfortably.   Many guys played really well Pollard included.
Cosatu and Erenreich and racists of note. erenreight is a vicious racist.
Merit is the only way forard and the only principle that could be accepted if promoted.anc is all about race, corruption and inefficiency.
car mat is about race it appears.

Sometimes I wish South Africa was scrapped clean off the surface of the Earth. It's becoming increasingly more difficult by the day to argue against eugenics. Perhaps 'they' are right.

They do have a point considering all the white players Meyer plays out of position when there are more than capable black players ready to fill the gaps. Not a good look I'm afraid....
