I do not think there is much Meyer could do after the mess yesterday, bearing in mind what is going on on the injury front as well:-

Bismarck and Burger looked tired and ineffective yesterday.  Both should be put on the bench.   Du Preez is injured and is not likely to get fit before the WC and he would not be exposed to further injuries.   
We have a serious problem at Tighthead.  Our loosies are bad as well.   Brussow was absent from the game yesterday - Burger was a blunderbuss - Coetzee obviously was not over his injury.   Louw is also injured - so time to call up others.  Same with the locks - since Flippie was useless when tried out in that position previously.  
For heavens sake - do not play De Allende as a loosie where he e nded up yesterday.

 It is not prejudice Beeno - it is fact.  Burger was active - but really ineffective.   His passing was a disgrace and he was losing balls when tackles after carries.  There was no ball protection on the part of anybody. 
Burger looked like a boy with a toy who did not know what to do with it.  I gained the impression that he was overplayed and need a rest - further games now would damage his prospects and usage in the WC   
Coetzee was injured and the present injured include Vermeulen, Louw and the lay Alberts.   In other words of the loosies in the squad only Burger, Kolisi and Brussow are available.   Burger was active - but ineffective yesterday.  Brussow and Kolisi did squat on the field of play.  I would keep Burger in the set-up, but rest him on Saturday or five him a bench position.  Alberts is and remain a hopeless case who should never have been in the squad at all.
