Spare a thought for Wales.  Robbed by Vermeulen ignoring a  specific instruction of Meyer never to off-load balls,

Spare a thought also for the Boks robbed of a final spot by a very dubious reversal of a penalty.
Spare athought also fro long suffering Bok fans who were again subjected to dom rugby.
One can only offer congrats to the wee abs but it has a hollow ring to it once more.
By the way Mike you were absolutely correct the Ozzies lost the game in the first half due to a poor performance by the pack.
Thankfully I had a lot of tennis on but have now watched the match. How Wayne Barnes missed that forward pass makes the mind boggle. Then cain ou had a kneck hold on an Ozzie player but no penalty to Oz. Just these two incidents may have found Oz a point ahead adn changed the match completely.
Rugby really has to sort out the ref blunders. Even when the forward pass by the wee abs was shown on the screen and the crowd booed no action was taken. I think it has become imperative to have a challenge system. 3 calls per half and you lose a call if you get it wrong etc.
So in conclusion the two down under sides burgaled a final and one burgalar won.On the positive side the crooking wasnt as bad as in the previous world cup which was a total disgrace. The fact though remain that NZ have only won one RWC fair and square and here one must note here that the Mighty Boks were not participants.
Of particular importance is the IRB keeping a very close watch on the two down under burgalars. I refer obviously to mongs like the Ozzie  A Yob Bwahahahahahhahahaha
Beeno summing up the 2015 RWC.

Wardad, seeing the ABs power over the Oz scrum & sending it back so fast the ball came spinning out of the AB scrum was a sight to see So much for a "pap pack". Line outs weren't too bad either.

Michael, you are a disgrace. When in doubt lie, lie and lie again.

Beeno, which part of this rugby was dom? The part where Meyer was realistic about the limitations of the players available to him?

What did I lie about this time?   Did you missed out on the comments of Vermeulen about the Du Preez try in which he twice said they were forbidden to off-load the ball in games by the coach?   I believe Vermeulen did know what was going on in the changeroom.

They were not forbidden to offload the ball. They had a set strategy to milk that scrum for a penalty which would have required a full effort from 8 and no ball released.

That is not what Vermeulen said - I believe him rather than you in this case.   Anyway - with th props they had on - there was no way a penalty could be milked as suggested by you.  Jannie milking a penalty - more likely to give one away.  What a farce.
