Springbok front row vs Hurricanes

 Stormers scrum is the most dominant I've seen in SR in a very long time. It would be hard for Meyer not to pick Kitshoff, Koch and Malherbe.

 Very impressive Stormers scrumming. Koch is doing really good work at the breakdown as well.

 Kitshoff was my MOM today. He must be the most improved player this year. He is really starting to live u p to the hype lately. 

Kitshoff, Koch and Malherbe is a great asset in the scrum and in general play, they have been by far the best props in SA though i think Meyer will still stick with Jannie. I remember in previous years there was other tighthead props who were in fact better than Jannie in SR but Meyer still decided to stick with Jannie. I hope to see a change in the bok front row, it's important that it needs to be sorted and looked at closely before the RC.

 Jerome, that is true, but I really can't recall a scrum dominating like the Stormers are doing ATM. Giving "gatskop" a whole new meaning. In all fairness,  if I have to pick a Bok pack ATM,  it will be the Stormers pack with Bismarck at 2, Flo at 6 and Matfield at 5. I would have preferred another 5, but I think we can afford Vic in that pac.

 I think that Meyer will retain Jannie as the Tighthead prop because he never learns from his mistakes.   
Mozart regards Jannie as out "national treasure" and being irreplaceable .  He hates Malherbe with a vengeance and even though Malherbe in general is a better player - he would always go for other alternatives.
If Jannie is not selected - Meyer's second choice would be Malherbe - whether the liar likes it or not.  

 Jannie did not do himself any favours in the game against the Canes.

Jannie is way past his sell-by date and should start a full-time medical practice.  He could even specialize in sport injuries.  The guy is clever and he should realize he is not producing the good anymore.   
Maybe a season or two in Japan to get even richer than he already is should be the way to go.

Suffers of certain mental disorders superimpose their own issues onto others, and hate them for being a reflection of themselves. Needless to say, I have never seen Mozart hate ay player with a vengeance.

I do agree however that 2015 is probably a bridge too far for Jannie. He was a treasure, not because he was a great tighthead, but because he was our only test option. Whether the alternatives do well remains to be seen. Jannie was outstanding in 2011 yet our scrum still languished. The Sharks scrum was the best in the Super XV last year by far - more so than the Stormers this year - yet we had problems. This issue is more complex than ' player x' for 'player y'.

 No comment - Mozart has a list of players on his list of players he either ignore or criticize endlessly based on nothing but his own negative perceptions.  The moment a player becomes a threat to his favourite in the Springbok team the venom, against that player starts flowing.   Since nothing is based on fact one can only assume it is because of hatred of the player concerned.
     

 Jannie is scrumming well against the Tahs. Robinson always pulls back on the engage to trick the ref into awarding penalties against the opposition for seemingly early engagement
