I somehow doubt if the conservative Heyneke Meyer will throw caution to the wind and give some of his less-used squad players a start in the Bronze final but I really think he should pick the likes of Schalk Brits, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Siya Kolisi, Rudy Paige, Zane Kirchner and Lwazi Mvovo to start against Argentina on Friday evening.

Not sure how some of the Springboks approaching the end of their careers like Victor Matfield, Schalk Burger and Bryan Habana feel, but I reckon if it was me I'd rather my last Springbok game was in a RWC semifinal - even if it was a loss - rather than in some meaningless Losers Final that no-one gives a toss about.

So the scheme is, throw in everybody who hasn't played and lose to the Bargies. It's loser think like this that pevades and destroys our rugby. But here's the good thing for you AAS.....HM has already said he doesn't care about the game so you may get your wish.

Semi Finals should be barbarians rugby. Not many people will be interested in the result- so it should at least be entertaining.

When we count up our wins against the ABs, we don't exclude the Bronze game in 99. We were motivated to win because we were playing the ABs....the Bargies will feel the same playing the Boks. Lose to the Bargies and we lose the little credit this team got recovering from Japan and forcing the ABs to put in a massive effort. We actually need to win this game for the brand.

Play Lomp so the Bargies can toy with him like they did in Durban....or better yet play Stephanie.

 Sure
Give the matchlosers another final chance to lose another match.  Pick Matfield, Jannie, Scxhalk and obviously Fourie du Preez.
What is and was loser think was the support of Meyer and his selection criteria for the WC squad.  What some players - strongly supported by the non-thinkers on this site - was doing in the squad, nobody knows.   They should have realized that players like Matfield, Alberts, Jannie du Plessis, Kirchner and Pienaar would cost us any chance to win anything.   Even de Villiers never proved before selection that he was recovered from his previous injuries and did squat in matches he did play in.
And then there was the game plan of Meyer - based on his idea about the capabilities of players like Fourie du Preez - that was deadly ineffective.  If that game plan is repeated we will get run over by the Argentinians - whoever we play.

Sure we lost by 2 points - that is the death wish of the match-loser mentality of you yourself.  Play the above and lose a game we could have won and then blame players other than the actual players who causes the loss for the loss.
That is the fatal approach in this case.   You should have admitted after Saturday that your support of players like those quoted by me above was a fatal mistake in selecting them for the WC campaign.   But that did not happen - so back to personal insults as a solution to cover for your unthinking support for whatsoever Meyer dreamed up.

We had no attack, because we had  no centres who had a clue how to create a break, support a break and exploit a break. This wasn't a centre pairing, it was a pairing of two decent athletes with a combined 1.25 years in their positions. I warned you but no....Allende was going to tractor through a brick wall and Kriel was going to run gloriously through the English fields.

BS - read the following:-
Kriel0/003/0/12110002/10/000/0
De Allende0/000/1/82812028/20/000/0
The center got the ball rarely - fact is Kriel got the ball only once from a backline move.  The fact is that the two centers with minimal ball receipt made two clean line rbeaks - the AB centers with numerous ball carries only made 1.
You are talking total BS insofar as those two players are concerned.  You carry on about De Allende endlessly - yet any expert never mention the rubbish you do.   You blame De Allende for not off-loading balls - yet elsewhere Vermeulen stated twice that off-loading of balls were absolutely forbidden by Meyer - and int eh case of the Wales try he contravened that instruction of Meyer.
If we did not have the donkey game plan and the centers were given more opportunities and they did not sue it - then you can make that statement of yours.  And remember one thing - Fransie would have been much worse than Pollard and De Allende were.    He would have lost more ball possession and miss more tackled than those two did if his performances in Super 15 is borne in mind.
Prejudiced backer of losers - that remains our respected Mozart.

Good one Moz, so we have Kriel who received 1 ball and made 21 metres - go compare that to what Conrad Smith did.......try again......clueless as usual

That is exactly my point.,....he received one ball. They ran up to him and gently placed the pill in his hand? He did nothing all game, no attempt to get into position for the ball....made 3 tackle attempts in a game where we made 151 tackle attempts!!!!! He made 3?  What was he doing.....he doesn't get involved. Rugby is a game of initiative....he has none.
Allende tractored away with his usual sub 4 metres  a carry results and lost the ball twice in the process, which is worth a negative 50 metres. So in his 8 attempts he effectively lost 22 metres.
Great stuff!

That beats the rest of the arguments to cinders - not so Mozart?  only your deluisions count in this case - so lets forget the rest and just remember that delusions are meaningless wanderings of a stupid mind.
And to think that Mozart favours the useless De Jongh as a 13 and the disatrous Fransie as a 12.  That says it all in this case.

 Those aren't arguments ...they are facts....8 runs/28 metres/2 turnovers= minus 22 metres in 8 runs.

MonsterBok, calling Moffie an idiot might be a little bit harsh. I mean, just imagine if you were some poor idiot and someone compared you with that pompous, childish and self-important old fool.

I really think you should do the right thing and apologise to idiots everywhere.

Best team in the world. bwhahaahahhaha what asick joke.Has it dawned on anybody that the wee abs won the Sa Test via an illegal bit of play by mcaaaw as well as other red zone infringements etc. The bad calls agaisnt SA were noted at the time and turned a comfortable win into a close loss. How amny times hasnt thsi happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It looks like the penalty reversal on matfield was an out and out crook by A YOB the bent Ozzie TMO. I warned that thsi ref panel was about as bad as itr could be.The wee abs record against us is so influenced by ref assisted wins its is a myth.
WHAT NEEDS T OHAPPEN IS THAT NO DOWN UNDER REF CAN OFFCIATE AGAISNT US WHEN WE PALY EITHER OX OR NZ AT TEST OR SUPER 15 LEVEL. SARU SHOULD INSIST ON THIS GIVEN THAT THE GET THE JARPY AGENDA IS STILL VERY CLEQARLY STILL IN FULL CRY. BRYCELAWRENCE WAS MADE NZ REF OF THE YEAR BY STICKING TO THE SCRIPT ALTHOUGH HE WAS FIRED FROM THE IRB ELITE PANEL OF REFS DUE TO HIS DISGUSTING DISPLAY OF CHEATING.AF FOX AHS SAID RUGBY IS CORRUPT AND SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. THE THE HEART OF THE CORRIPTION IS NZ IN CAHOOTS WITH THE CROOKED OZZIES. THE SOONER THE IRB AND WORLD RUGBY RECOGNISE THIS FACT THE BETTER.
The only benefit of playing guys like KoliSI is to show up them up. If this would eliminate them from the picture for the future it might be a price worth paying however some other substandard player of colour would have to be picked to ensure the quota is maintained. Meyer in choosing his RWC side simply had to pick who were the best players of colour and choose them regardless of whether they were the best. A totally disgraceful state of affiars and one which should have result in the banning of South Africa by the IRB IF they were people of principle or if other countries who worked for the banning of South Africa in the past were really people of principle - which they very obviously are not.
Its a very sad state of affairs and good men twiddle their thumbs and live in denial as to what is happening. In fact anybody speaking out is labelled a conspirator or a whinger. What is needed is good men with a backbone. being goodmen alone is not enough. Does anybody seriously believe that bryce lawrences fathers notorious letter to Oz refs to get the Jarpies is all that has passed between these two corrupt bodies? If so you are living in cuckoo land. The outworkings of this agenda are constantly before us.The worst thing though is that we contribute most of the funds and yet are treated like this. Hence we must go north if at all posssible and leave these two down under crooks to stew. Beeno drawing a very stra ight line. How many times must we be crooked out before serious action is taken?

Goodness me, what a weak, snivelling loser Baboon-ou is!

"Boohoohoo . . . it's all so unfair . . . the refs are cheats . . . sniff . . . blubber . . . whine . . . the naughty New Zealanders and Australians are plotting against us . . . boohoohoo . . ."

Wipe your nose, dry your eyes and harden the heck up for heavens sake! You're an embarrassment to the rest of us Springboks supporters!

Rooitwit grow a backbone please you are a severe embarasment. The type of oaks that if somebody came to rob his house and had done the job and was about to leave ou rooitwit would say you forgot about my safe behind that picture and hand him the keys. Yes its that pathetic!
Oh what a spineless jelly baby ou rooitwit is and always has been.
Why is ou rooitwit so spineless one wonders!
Rooitwit leave the fight for a fair deal to the redoubtable Beeno and go and have a nice warm glass of milk to sooth your nerves. H ave your smelling salts close at hand and a nice frilly handkerchief to dab those tearful eyes!

"Grow a backbone" says the blubbering jellyfish whose last 10 posts have been one long plaintive whine about how everyone else is cheating the poor victimised Springboks.

Listen Baboon-ou, spin it any way you want but please note you don't speak for me when you snivel and sob like a pathetic crybaby. Judging by a few other responses you don't speak for many real Springbok supporters either. The Springboks were beaten by the better team. Now either deal with that or else go sound like a blubbering baby somewhere else. This is a rugby message board - not an Agony Aunt column for weak, simpering little crybabies.
