Stormers scrape through...no thanks to the ref and ss.ASS. REFS.

 Yes its sad that our teams are on top of the log ,shame we mostly get local derbies that no one in NZ wants so that Saffa teams can get a shot at a semi final berth .So what would we be mourning exactly ?

 Ag WD, it was just a small jibe at the first Canes loss of the season against the team that got THUNDERRED against the Stormers last week, and if you look at the log right now, you will see that the Mighty Stormers are sitting at 2. Enjoy the rest of the weekend Oom. :-)

 Ah well fair enough but a wee riposte is in order .And the fact that the Stormers are second in the SA 'conference' only illustrates how broken the conference system is .First 6 overall would be about right I reckon .And its go the Mighty Chiefs for me !

 I was fully aware that the Stormers would most probably give up the spot to da Bools. We play the them next week, so if we want top spot in SA, we can earn it then.

That was a disgusting performance by the Stormers - the Cheetahs put  up a better performance a week before against the Force than the Stormers did yesterday.   The whole system flopped because of the constant aimless kicking of the Stormers - especially the flyhalfs concerned - yesterday and the result was a seriously defective performance by the team as a whole.       

Wardad, maybe it would be a good idea to revisit the view of most Saffers' on the structure of this competition. By far the most of us were and, still are, p!ssed off about it. I can clearly remember the arguments right from the very first S15 season when an Aus team where in the third spot on the overall log with a horde of sides on more log points and outside of the play-offs. 
It is a crap system and it is about to become worse. 
PS. As far as I can remember this current format was originally an Aussie idea to have at least one Aussie team involved in the sharp end of the competition. 

Crap system or not, if you cut Oz out of qualifying then Rugby in this country which is under enormous pressure from both the NRL and AFL will just disappear off the face of the earth. NZ and SA don't suffer the same problem.

 We should of course have three more points given we were cheated out of awin agaisnt the hurricanes.Draad it was nice because as you suggest the Warts blowing away the blowhards canes showed the degree of the farce when the Stormers played the blowhards and their ref! Bwahahahhahahahahaha
The canes are bunch of softies and the Lions won about every stat agaisnt them and contrived to lose the match. The Stormers murdered them in that second half.
That the canes top the log is farsical. Lets hope the log will end up reflecting the ability of sides.  

Beeno: please show a little gratitude, after all the Stormers form improved as a result of lessons learned against the Canes

 BS Beeno. Canes monstered yous in the first half. Were you smiling when Canes scored that brilliant try in the end of the first half. It amazes me you use the ref as an excuse. When he was on your side the whole second half. Canes out classed you completely. You could only score one try in that second half pathetic. And now you can barley beat the force. So give me a break on this canes cheated through a ref assisted win routine that you always use. Canes are #1 because they have been the most consistent team in the entire competition FACT.
