I think that Ludeke is an absolute fool and his team would not equate to what I wrote here, but the Bulls have four injured or rested players that will be available this week for the game against the Sharks.  Those are Strauss, Serfontein, Pollard and Labuschagne.

If I was the Bulls coach I would select the following team against the Sharks:-

15   Jesse Kriel

14   Francois Hougaard

13   Jan Serfontein

12   Burger Odendaal

11   Bjorn Basson

10   Handre Pollard

 9   Rudy Paige

 8   Arno Botha

 7   Hanro Liebenberg

 6   Lappies Labuscgne

 5   Grant Hattingh

 4   Jacques du Plessis

 3   Trevor Nyakane

 2   Adriaan Strauss

 1   Dean Greyling

I would avoid Spies and Stegmann like the plague - they are serious liabilities in the team.   Stegmann specifically is a penalty machine.

Your side is off...........for a start Marcel v/d Merwe has to start at 3, with Nyakane moving to 1.......these two are the best props the Bulls have by some distance.

Move Hougaard to 9 as Paige is average and play Serfontein at 12, with Odendaal at 13 with JJ on the wing

Hougaard has been average at 9 for quite some time while he has been great at 14 for quite some time. So, why replace one average SH for another while weakening another position at the same  time? Odendaal had been great at 12 for some time. Serfontein has been doing OK'ish for the Boks at 13 while JJ has been slipping even further at 13 and there is no certainty that he would be any better on the wing. So,why not Odendaal at 12 and Serf at 13?

Oh so Hougaard against NZ and Oz was average at 9 was he?????

Ignorant as ever.

Hougaard is by far our best 9, who happens to be talented enough to play well on the wing......so yes move Hougaard to 9 where he belongs.

Serfontein is not quick enough for 13, Odendaal is quicker......both are 12's but if you are going to move one to 13, move your quicker player there.......same with the de Allende and Serf combo I would have.....de Allende is quicker and therefore I would play him at 13 with Serf at 12.

JJ has been ordinary this s15.....he is a lost cause......seems to have thrown in the towel after being dumped by Meyer......he might as well go chase the buck

Hougaard has been no better at 9, for the Bulls, than Paige or Van Zyl. He has been far better on the wing. That is where he adds the most value to the Bulls team at present. Live with it.

If I agree with you Davey....will I still be ignorant? Bwhahaha

Don't bother to respond you childish moron.......I mean I really don't care what you think and I wonder why you bother to read my posts, I don't read yours with this case being the exception.

I also wonder how anyone can spend as much time as you have and still know nothing, zip, niks about the game.

Truly amazing.

Over and out.

Case closed.

Mike your side is close to being right. Question marks would be who plays 12 Serfontein or Odendaal. Lets try Odendaal at 13 - also needs to be tried there from a Bok point of view.
The props are a toss up. Greyling has been going pretty well and always gets stuck in. Is Nyakane better than Greyling - questionable. Is Nyankane better than Marcell,h as Marcell got a mobility issue?
Also a problem is Arno Botha. He is making little impact thus far. Play him off the bench? Pity Labbers is injured.

Anyone ever seen Monty Python live at the Hollywood Bowl? If you have a half decent sense of humour it'll have you rolling with laughter!

Aag ou Vaalseun. Daar is niemand wat so dom is soos 'n p@epol soos jy wat probeer slim wees nie. Skud jou kop sodat jou ore jou kan wakker klap. What is you problem with Afr ikaans speaking people in any case? Has some Bo ertjie bliksemmed that crap out of you when you were a kid? Or is it more a matter that most of them can converse with you in your mother tongue while you come across as pretty thick because you cannot return the compliment, despite growing up in SA in the days when we only had two official languages?

Given your general ignorance......I question whether its possibly a language barrier thing and I mean that sincerely......you don't seem to grasp the obvious at times and my guess is that its a language thing?

Beeno
Labuschagne is back this week and will play.   I can live with Spies - useless as he is - but not with Stegmann, who after Alberts must the the dumbest loosie in the world.
I have not been impressed by the performances of Botha since he returned from injury that youngster Liebenberg is a better 7 than he is.  I still think the loosies should be as indicated - but maybe Spies should b retained - useless as he is.   How many times do I have to repeat the latter statement!!!!
As to why I would prefer Odendaal - and as a matter of fact De Allende also - at is that they have the ability (at present largely absent in the case of Serfontein) to make line breaks and create space for other players to operate in.   That to my mind is a critical requirement for a 12.   Esterhuizen has sufficient pace and ball sense to cause problems by using the speedy wings on the outside.
I think that Engelbrecht never really adjusted to the 13 position and has always seen his future on the wing - not at center.  I think he will do very well as a wing.

Mike you are speaking utter crap.....JJ was brilliant at times for the Boks at 13 so saying he never adjusted is a load of bullshit.

JJ has lost his mojo......I'd be happy to see him move to the wing to accommodate Serfontein and Odendaal at centre. Move JJ to wing and Hougaard back to 9 where he belongs.

Arno Botha has hardly played and was solid enough in his last game, in fact he was the best of all our 7's.....his spot is 8 though.....that is where he should play.
