The CC Competition this Year

Lets look at the different teams and see who are the outstanding players in Teams:-
The Golden Lions
The Lions have a fantastic team playing this year.  They wiped the floor this round with Western Province - and have been a class above the other SA Franchises/unions.   Having won all 9 games played thus far and having 43 points on the log with a point difference of 203 points showed how far above the other unions are.

Nollis Marais has replaced Ludeke as head of coaching of the Bulls and he started off with getting rid of some of the garbage Ludeke has thrived on for years.
Western Province    WP has had an up and down year - mostly not convincing against other teams.   The struggled in their backlines - bar the game between against the Bulls - where they played Johnny Kotze and Huw Jones as centers.

  With a large number of retirees and players that will not future feature as Springboks the new generation of Springbok  players should come from the players listed above.      
 

 The Norther Bulls is not playing, has never played, in the CC Competition. They had their last game was in the 2004 Super 12.
