I like you first XV, except I'd put Malherbe in for Coenie, out of our young number 3s I think Malherbe and Marcell are ahead of Coenie atm. 

Give Coenie another year to get back into the groove and prove his scrumming again, and then he might be the man for the job again.

knows zero about rugby and has no idea about performance of players causing him to descend to lying to get some obscure defense of his geriatric selections supported.   The biggest flops since 2012 has all been on Mozart's list as published by Dave - but he will never admit it.     

Bakkies should have taken Matfield, Morne, Alberts, Jannie, Louw, Pienaar and Jean with him.

The biggest flops since 2012 have been on your list Michael! Goosen? Coetzee? Bekker? Goosen? Lambie? Damian? Kriel? Serfontein? Steph? JJ? Malherbe? Swivel? There must be more. You've chosen poorly throughout these past few years. It seems to come innately. 

APD we have some serious talent to work with......investing in the likes of Pollard, Kriel, de Allende, Willie, Lood, Etzebeth and Coetzee has shown the way forward, these players are our standouts......the only older players that stand tall enough are Habana, JP, du Preez, Beast, Bismark, Strauss, Vermeulen and Schalk. I'd add Frans Steyn to that list.
At fullback Willie is streaks ahead with Jessie Kriel being our next bet if Willie got injured. But it would be a pity losing Kriel at 13. I like Andries Coetzee of the Lions and Gellant looks handy for the Bulls but might not be big enough for test rugby. SP Marais seems to have lost his mojo after a promising start, but form is temporay as they say. Taute showed plenty of promise as a 21 year old but injury seems to be blighting his progress. Where to play him 13 or 15? Visser of the Bulls also looked good but seems to have to have disappeared, could be injured.
On the wing we have some good options. JP still has a few years in him, not sure how much more we can get out of Habana aged 32. Wing is a young man's game. There are some handy youngsters about, with Ulengo of the Bulls impressing the most. A big lad with 7's experience. I am a big Kobus v/Wyk fan but inury has played a part this year. Would like to see him get a run at 13. Sithole was very strong in the S15, I like his power. Rhule has blistering pace and a great step.....is playing good rugby again and looks to have ironed out his defensive issues. I have plenty of time for the two little guys Sergal Petersen and Kolbe. Add Senatla to this list, this kid has the x factor......all 3 might have issues size wise at the highest level. Combrink deserves higher recognition, has been outstanding for some time now and can cover 15. Skosan of the Lions knows his way to the try line to. Jordaan is too small for centre and should play on the wing - he is a gifted runner. Good to see Mjekevu back in SA, he seems to be finding his feet at the Sharks.
We have centres to burn, we have some serious talent here. de Allende and Jessie Kriel stand tall here, both have what it takes to be the best in their respective positions. Same can be said of Serfontien who will hopefully prosper under the new free spirited Bulls approach. Its great to see Dries Swanpoel making an impression at 13 for the Bulls, this lad looks the real deal, right place right time, good rugby brain.....another Conrad Smith. Odendaal has some real attacking flair about him and looks to always get involved. JJ has turned his back on proceedings thanks to Meyer disgraceful treatment of him. Frans Venter has had a coming of age year with the Cheetahs......stands out in an average side. As I mentioned earlier, I'd like to see Kobus v/Wyk given an extended run at 13. Its a pity Pat Howard was ignored by Coetzee and is now playing for the Saints. One to watch up here. Andre Esterhuizen is a physical freak like de Allende and its good to see he has cemented his spot in the Sharks side. I predict a big s15 for him, he is playing really well at the moment, adding the offload to his physical busts. Vorster looks the real deal and has test centre written all over him. Pity about his injury. Mnisi is in the form of his life, wow this lad is a talent....in this day and age of political crap in SA sport, I cant believe he has not had a Bok call up yet. My guess is that the next Bok coach will bring him on board. He is the spark of the Lions backline right now. Stokkies is very gifted but has not had much game time. Great to see the impressive Rohan Janse v/Rensburg getting a starting spot at 13 for the Lions. He had a great debut last week. I wish the same would happen with the impressive Tyler Fisher, who Jake White rated......strange that he has been loaned out to the Falcons.....makes no sense given how average the Sharks are. He would have been the perfect partner for Esterhuizen. Kotze at WP looks pretty useful as does Huw Jones, the Englishman playing in CT. Make him a Saffa I say. Frans Steyn, like JP has a good few years left in him yet.
At 10 Pollard stands tall, is a world beater this kid. Lambie is a great understudy with the bonus of being able to play 15. Jantjies was our form 10 of the s15 and should have been rewarded accordingly. His touches and vision are second to none.....our Cooper or Cipriani. Would have been a far better option than Morne in the WC squad. I find it sad how we have lost out on the talents of Goosen....his performance against Oz was sublime and should have been built upon. What a waste.....if I was Bok coach, I'd bring him back into the mix. There are some handy youngsters about like du Preez, Schoeman and Jaco v/d Walt of the Lions. Boshoff is a handy enough player as are Coleman and Catrakillis. Tim Swiel is sadly lost to the Quins and it will be interesting to see how he goes......might lack the hard edge. 
At 9, our three best players are playing CC rugby. While du Preez is steadying the ship, the old man has no time on his hands, so there is no future in him. Hougaard is playing great rugby at 9 for the Bulls and is the one 9 that offers real attacking clout. Faf was the find of the s15, our Aaron Smith.....its an absolute travesty that he is not in the WC squad ahead of Pienaar or Paige. Reinach is a class act and will be back in the fold post WC. Groom has been playing well for WP, provides solidity. I like the look of young v/Zyl of the Bulls, the Baby Bok 9 who plays off the bench behind Hougaard. Paige is a useful player as is Schrauder of WP. Piet v/Zyl is a talent that seems to be plagued by injury right now. 
At prop, the greatest travesty in rugby exists.....how the hell is Kitshoff not playing in our WC....its a disgrace. Possibly the best loosehead in the game right now. I am a big fan of the 3 younger props in our WC squad.....Malherbe is a strong srummager, Coenie has stood firm in the scrums and has no peers with ball in hand. Nyakane gets better and better. Marcel v/d Merwe is potentially the best of our young tightheads and should have made the WC squad. Koch had a great s15 and was rewarded with a test or two. Got a raw deal at this level. 133kg Wilco Louw of WP looks the real deal at 3, a mountain of a lad who does not budge in the scrums. Ollie Kebble impresses me, very strong in the scrums. Thomas du Toit is the next big thing at prop....the Sharks are messing him around though playing him a 3 one week 1 the next. He wants to play 3 apparently. The new Sharks tighthead, Engelbrecht looks pretty useful, another square of a lad. Young Schoeman of the Bulls is one to watch, he was outstanding in the Baby Bok side 2 seasons ago. What has happened to v/d Merwe of the Lions, he had a great s15, is he injured. de Bruin of the Cheetahs looks handy at 3 as is Maks v/Dyk. Redelinghuis and Dreyer are good tightheads, might lack beef though. Mellett is useful. Beast still has a few years left in him.
Bismark and Strauss stand tall at 2, but in Malcolm Marx we have found a heir apparent. This lad is playing great rugby.....raw power in the Bismark mould and a mountain of a lad at 115kg+. I like the busy Scara and Mbonambi of WP. Ackers of the Lions had a great s15 but seems to be injured at present. Cooper, Robbie Coetzee and Callie Visagie are good players.
We have ridiculous depth at lock with at least 5 of them being test quality locks already and a number of others being up there. There is no great lock depth in the game than Etzebeth, Lood, Willemse, PSDT and Jacques du Plessis. How Willemse and du Plessis have escaped Meyers attention is beyond me. Willemse with real grunt and du Plessis the ability to play 4/5 and 7. I am a big fan of Lewies, out at the moment....like his aggression. Ruan Botha had a very impressive s15 announcing his arrival in top flight rugby. His partner Jean Kleyn is a mountain of a lad who gets better and better. I like Carl Wegner of the Cheetahs. Mostert is seriously under rated and his new found partner in Lourens Erasmus has been the find of the CC. This years Baby Boks, Jason Jenkins and RG Snyman have the real deal written all over them. Oosthuizen of the Sharks is a good player who can play 7 as well.
No shortage in the loosie department. Vermeulen and Schalk provide the experience. Another travesty was Coetzee not making the WC squad, same can be said of Jaco Kriel who is huge week after week. I'm a big fan of Kolisi and Carr. Have always liked the grunt of Elstadt and have never understood how an invite to a Bok training camp has always escaped him - pathetic really. Bodybuilder Cloete looks a good find as a 6 at WP.....he was apparently playing in Sri Lanka last year. Notshe looks like a real find, great pace and step for a loosie, where to play him though? Brussouw still has plenty to offer and no doubt the exit of Meyer will see a return for Brussouw. Oupa is a solid Smithplayer, who has had some fine moments. Whiteley is good but too small for a test 8, great player though. de Wit looks a good find at 7 for the Lions and 7's star Kwagga  is just sublime as an impact player. I rate Jean Cook who is out injured. Arno Botha is back to his best form at the Bulls. Munster player of the year CJ Stander needs to be grabbed by the next Bok coach. Baby Bok captain Liebenberg is a star of the future at 8. Roelof Smit is a tough nut and Labs seems to have found his best spot as a 6, big fan of this lad. I like the energy of Hattingh who has left our shores. Mtembu impressed me immensely, looks to be test standard to me.
Imagine being the next Bok coach and having the above to choose from? Mouth watering prospect.

 Thanks for the break down Saffex, I do my best to keep up with domestic south african rugby but it's difficult to find the time to watch the games, so to have some players to look out for is good.

More or less, what we should be building towards in the 2019 WC is something like this in my opinion:

Obviously this is just a rough thought, and it doesn't account for any youngsters coming out of the woodwork by 2019. 

But if we can generally keep this spine to the team playing consistently together before 2019 then combinations will be formed and we'll be better for it. 

There'll be a great age distribution with at least 10 people in that ideal 25-30 age bracket.
