I read some utter horse shit on here about how our centres made little impression yesterday when in fact given the nature of the game, they were in fact better than the Oz centres in a similar game.
Both sets completely dominated their opponents but lets have a look at what the stats say.....firstly I read some utter bullshit about how great 33 year of Giteau was.......was he really?
Well here goes:
At 13....Kriel ran the ball 4 times, gained 33m and made one clean break
Kurandrani ran the ball 9 times and gained all of 10m beating 1 defender
At 12.....de Allende ran the ball 10 times, gained 26m and beat 3 defenders
Giteau ran the ball 9 times and gained 32m and beat 1 defender and made 1 clean break
Kriel was the most effective in terms of productivity followed by de Allende given he gained all of less than 1 metre per carry than Giteau but in the process beat an extra man.
Kurandrani pretty much did stuff all.
Nice bit of reality there.

Giteau also scored. Just saying.

Are you comparing Scotland to England? Interesting, rather convenient, interpretation. Why not look back at what Australia actually did in game against these very players? Too much of an unsightly inconvenience? Need a gentle nudge in the right direction?

Well we all know that de Allende and Kriel made their Oz and Kiwi counterparts look like kids when they played in the RC
It was after those performances that the world was raving about the de Allende/Kriel combo
I wonder why that was?
As for Scotland vs England....very little in it.
But I'll say it again......so much for the complete shit written about our centres yesterday, when in fact they were better than the Oz pair.

Xavi
Giteau's try had nothing to do with skill it was a simple run in and score off the work done by others

What utter fucking bullshit......this coming from the idiot who never watched a single s15 game.
Name the 3 breaches and we have been over the try a dozen times

Not just Kuridrani but Giteau too. Git exposed Damian twice, once for a certain try had Folau not fumbled the ball. AAC had his number too, so too Toomua. Kriel and Damian barely made a dent. His biggest success was running for free in open space down the touchline after Pienaar put him away. But Damian didn't know what to do once he faced defenders and died with the ball.

What utter crap.....would that be the Kuridrani who gained all of 10m against England and after 9 runs???

I have already discussed Damien's missed tackles, with time stamps highlighting every time Kuridrani beat him, comprehensively here. You're not going to look it up anyway, because your mind is already made up that it never happened.
And again, we are not discussing S15 now, so me not watching S15 is of no consequence.

So now Kuridrani is a poor centre? Well he was good enough to bamboozle Damian for 80 minutes.

"would that be the Kuridrani who gained all of 10m against England and after 9 runs"
Would yours be the De Allende who made 11 runs for 11 meters against Argentina in Durban, while making 4 tackles and missing 3?
In the same game a certain Jean de Villiers made 8 runs for 47 metres, making 5 tackles and missing none.
So, by your simplistic and frankly idiotic stats reasoning, that would make Jean more than 4 times the player Damian is.
Damian also beat 3 tackles, the mark of a center right, while Jean only beat 1. Yet Jean made 4 times as many meters. Gee, I wonder how that works.
How is this cherry picking of stats and total ignorance of situational and tactical ana-lysis thing working out for you now? If you want to ana-lyze rugby at kindergarten level with a line of little numbers, be my guest. But don't do it in the company of adults. You just make a fool of yourself .

Yeah go read his stats against Oz and NZ you ignorant twat....shows how much your stamps meant...do you know anything about the game?
Fucking insulting that you have not even watched the s15 and feel equipped to pass comment on the player in general.
What a fucking idiot you are

Dumb Fox do us a favour and leave this site....you are an embarrassment and serve only to discredit this site as a rugby one.
I mean that sincerely....Fuck off

Woosh! I just showed you how little stats mean. And then you point me to go read some more stats. Genius.
And my timestamps are spot on. 3 of the 4 defenders Kuridrani beat were De Allende, De Allende and De Allende.

And he did the same thing against Allende in the Stormers game. If Allende can attach to an attacking player he can tractor pretty well. Trouble is he misses his connection about a quarter of the time.
And Kriel has not been given the proper preparation time....he is simply not ready.

Huh? You either beat a defender or you don't? Well, uhm, yes. You really are a most astute observer. Fail to see the relevance of that absolute pearl of logic to the discussion though.

The real problem will Meyer shackle his backline to play crash ball or will we see the brilliance unleashed as we did against Oz and Nz in particular where Allen de and Kriel ripped old men conrad carthorse and mother nonu apart.
Snapster please understand we may not see Allnde and Kriel play that way as Meyer could rein them in.

Nope Pakie if stats tell me a player beat 5 defenders then he beat 5 end of.
Those stats substantiate my take on the game and tell me you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
My take is backed by stats and written reports following the game.
What makes your pathetic take correct huh?

Saffex "Big Guy" keyboard warrior getting a little hot under the collar. Yes, Kuridrani is better. And yes, he outclassed both our centres in the RC and Super Rugby. Damian was beaten in every defensive situation. The very reason why Australia scored 14 points.

Well it was you telling me how little stats mean.....I'm pointing out you are speaking shit....for if stats tell me a centre beat 6 defenders versus his opposite beating none....then it's clear who was more productive with ball in hand.
Stats provide no context but they do tell us plenty
