What's with the long shots of Lambie on the bench when Pollard made a mistake with the kick-off? What a time to start playing favorites. It ignited the crowd turning on Pollard - as if the team really needed more pressure. The Lambie chant going around practically amounted to Pollard being booed off the pitch - I'm sure that will do his confidence a world of good ahead of the World Cup. What a childish bunch of w*nkers the South African media (and so many of the supporters) are.

Really not the way to support your team. They need both players to play well not just the one they like this week.

Bloody right, it was disgusting. There is a lot of rugby politics played out in the choice of feed. We have a great young flyhalf in Pollard who had  a few silly moments, so let's destroy him. I think the less of HM for subbing him right after the kid made a mistake, when the game was gone anyway. Talk about a move to destroy confidence.

If you want to understand what South Africans are today, watch Redneck Zombies. It's practically all you need to know. I am beyond disgusted with them, but what's knew? They've done the same with many of our best players. What they want is someone they can relate to, someone who they feel can adequately represent the appropriate level of mediocrity. Enter Lambo, the king of flubs! He who has yet to have a passable test at 10 in nearly seven years. It's that kind of longstanding quality that many feel captures the essence of the modern South African. Diminutive in global stature, no skills, no charisma, no intellect, slow, and getting a lovely handout. You should never forget the handout! We have the worst Fans in all of sports.

Moz, the saddest thing is he has benched him for one of the most ordinary and unproductive 10s I have ever seen at this level of the game. Literally. Pollard's bad days are what Lambie is striving for. If that substandard Whiteflag gets a World Cup cap I hope these "fans" can at least, for once, acknowledge that they are wrong, wer always wrong. SA doesn't deserve success. They want a team of flubs, let them have the fruits of their labour! I'm personally done with watching the Boks. After this cycle, it's over.

How about Morne on the bench next week and a long shot of him every time Lambie fluffs something. Let's see if we can get another chant going and destroy our flyhalves one by one.

Lambie never gets called out. Look at his utterly disgraceful England test - entire EOYT in fact - it was worse than anything Pollard has done up to now, and worse than Morne's Perth test! Yet who comes out with media praise and public support? Good old Lambie! This incessant praise and turning of the eye to any errancy is disgraceful. He has little talent, no fight or courage. Nothing has ever stood out. He gets worse every year. So you cannot destroy him, he was never functional to begin with. As I say, let him start for the World Cup. I want SA to be humiliated for their ignorance! This is the kind of nation that needs to be hurt before it learns. Often that isn't enough.

Pollard to start ....Morne off the bench...Frans as our super sub who can cover 10, 12 and 15. What price a powerhouse and huge boot like Frans  today. Lambie is leagues behind our best athletically, but in RSA if you were head prefect it counts for a lot.

I was head prefect too, can I play for the Boks? I 'm not as fast as I used to be, but I can put in a monster tackle. I'll dust off my old Adidas predators and slot right in!

Yeah, the fans were idiotic today.
Although,'If you want to understand what South Africans are today, watch Redneck Zombies', this statement from Desert is equally idiotic.
Generalizing whole groups of people is a dangerous game to play.

I think Lambie is decent personally, he's not as good as Pollard obviously but he's a solid fly-half. I wouldn't have both in the match-day squad, I've decided after today. One or the other to start and someone like Morne (whom I've written off but on today's showing we need, so I admit I was probably wrong) on the bench to provide some experience and stability. We looked rudderless today, unfortunately.
'It's that kind of longstanding quality that many feel captures the essence of the modern South African. Diminutive in globak stature, has no skills, charisma, no intellect, slow, wesk willed, and getting a lovely handout.' - comments like this aren't necessary at all. I find that extremely insulting being a 'modern' South African.
