We have here the two members who have been hero-worshipping Francois Steyn - according to them the best center imaginable - he with the rock solid defense who gained fame for his defense in the 2007 EC when he managed to miss four tackles and since 2012 had constantly been the worst defending 12 in SA. To make matters worse for them our Fransie is also the poorest attacking center in SA on Super 15 level.
Elsewhere I quoted an article on De Allende which appeared in News 24 - in which there writer insisted that De Allende is a must in the selection of the Springbok team adter the insistence of the two members that De Allende was a liability in the game on Saturday and De Jongh a shining light on defense.
However - the two must have nightmares about De Allende as he was included again in the team of the week of the play-off round. De Allende played in 16 matches in Super 15 this year and in 9 of those he was the inside center (no 12) of the week. Yet according to them he is not good enough and they hallucinate about how defective he is in performances.
Then we have the case of Frans Malherbe - according to Mozart the prop who constantly fall flat on his face in scrums. Another case of a misrepresented player where misrepresentations must be made because the two (according to them) experts prefer Jannie du Plessis, who in scrumming donates penalties regularly in each match to the opposition because of scrumming defects. Malherbe was one of three Stormers players who was rated as the no 3 of the week for the two games played on Saturday.
Then our two experts prefer to constantly rave about Victor Matfield and attack Pieter-Steph du Toit. Yet Gert Smal is in this case wrong because he is trying to lure Du Toit to go to the Stormers. The following article confirms that onr:-
"Western Province Director of Rugby Gert Smal has confirmed their interest in signing Springbok lock Pieter-Steph du Toit from the Sharks.
Smal confirmed to EWN Sport that a discussion between him and Du Toit had taken place.
Smal said the Sharks had agreed to the discussion taking place. The WP boss said the discussion went well and he now hopes Du Toit “makes the right decision to come to Cape Town.”
Du Toit, 22, signed a two-year contract extension at the Sharks in July 2013 which runs until June 30 this year. Du Toit recently indicated that he would like to repay the faith the Sharks had shown him through his periods sidelined with injuries, but he was schooled in the Western Cape and his family lives there, which makes a move back to the region an appealing one.
Du Toit played two Tests for the Boks in 2013, but has been plagues by knee injuries in recent years."
According to our two worthies Du Toit is useless and Smal must be stupid to try and get him to move to the Cape. Remember the Mozart misrepresentation on the thin shoulders, arms and wrists of Du Toit.
One has to wonder what kind of rugby disinformation is the rule guiding our two "experts" when virtually everyone else is wrong and they are correct in player assessments. Must be terrible to see all others as wrong and they being correct - this being the case often enough of inmates of lunatic asylums..
