The Sharks pre-season match

There was a report on this match - won by the Sharks who was 21-12 behind at halftime -  mentioning the fact that Gold change 6 of the Sharks forwards at halftime.
Two of the players mentioned specifically was Pieter-Steph du Toit and Thomas du Toit.  There is nor real report on his match-fitness or performance other than the following:-
"He will be available to the Sharks for the Absa Currie Cup until such time as the Springboks call him up for Rugby World Cup duty and he got through the half seemingly unscathed."
Insofar as Thomas du Toit is concerned - there was no indication of whether he scrummed at loosehead or tighthead.  In the JWC du Toit was used at Tighthead and the impression was gained that he may be schooled to take over from Jannie du Plessis on departure of the latter.  The following comment was made baout Thomas du Toit's performance:-
 "The first penalty of the match pushed the Lions into a 24-19 lead, but after some enterprising attacking play, a great break from Thomas du Toit who then fed Stefan Ungerer for the fourth try allowed them to draw level, before Cronje converted for a two point lead."
