 McCaw gets to operate on both sides of the ruck and from all angles, so that is the usual difficulty. But it can be done! But it would have been nice to have so bulk in clearing rucks. Lood has it all to do, because Flip should have been there on merit.

 Sharkbok, you trust wrong.  We're not talking about fetching beer or going to the moon. Beating the Allblacks isn't about planning alone,  and for most teams it's almost impossible. How many teams were able to beat them in the last 20 years?  Ever,  for that matter? Yes,  planning is importand,  but I was trying to emphasize that knowing how to beat them is the easy part. 

 
Draad ... it is as you say ... one put's a game plan together and then tries to go according to it ... problem is that the All Blacks adjust their play ... change a little here, change a little there ... and your game plan goes out the window.

Not that the Boks have a gameplan ... EVER ... other than kick everything away but if they did, they would have to adapt it as the match went along.

That's never going to happen.

The only way to beat the All Blacks is to have a team that thinks on it's feet, that adapts with what's in front of them, minute by minute ... and that means selecting a team that not only has the skill to pull this off but also proper and professional leadership ... not merely selecting the likes of Ruan "Oops I forgot to switch the lights on" Pienaar cause it's his turn this week ... 

Talking of Pienaar ... having a scrummie with that distant look that he's so famous for, "controlling" things at the back of the ruck, sadly falls way short. You've already lost the match there. 

Throw in a few props like the useless Jannie and Beast ... include an elderly lock that should never have come out of retirement, that same scrummie, a carthorse on the wing with a weak bench and what we have is the makings of a good practice run for the All Blacks ... no more.

We don't have what it takes to threaten them. Starting with our ignorant coach.

There are some positives - the retired lock - who should not have made a comeback is not playing - the carthorse on the wing is injured and not playing and we have been blessed by Morne not being in the team.
The problem remains the "Forgot to put on the Lights" Pienaar and there is a question mark as to the props - but they should be able to maintain parity.   Defense by Hendricks is a problem - but for the rest we should be better than we were last year.   

 Better? So last year we also had a 12 who flubbed all his tackles and did bo-diddly squat on attack? But worse? LMAO!!

Your problem is you are so biased you cannot see straight and in doing so lies through your teeth.   I think our center combination is out strong point - as Hansen has said.  He identified Pollard as a threat last year - and it happened - this year it is the combination of Pollard, De Allende and  Kriel that has him bothered.  
De Allende has always been a better defender than Fat Fransie and the turnstyle epithet applies only to dear Morne - the worst flyhalf defender we had in the professional era.

And as Michael stated, punch runners are detrimental to attacking wide, so too are miss and cut passes. So you must play as flat as possible, spread far apart, and pass along the line to get on the outside of the defence and score guaranteed tries. This essentially makes starter plays a relic, and using forwards as a second wave is lazy forward play. It's more dynamic to have them stationed in a clump together in the tight. So many revelations from Mr.Klever! Meyer obviously knows nothing about modern rugby!!! These experts sure are something.
