 The people who will get heartburn about the team include Mozart and His fellow dunce.   Some cleaning up of the normal loafers in the side was necessary - but there are also some dumb selections because the real competitors are injured and not ready to play.
There has been rumours about factions in the team - and this may be part of the longer-term plan to deal with those players who think they are untouchable and it is of the opinion it is not necessary for them to produce the goods.  Those who think they are above the game of rugby and cannot deal with their super-egos do not belong in the team.
The weaknesses left in the team are Murray and both locks.   Jordaan should be back soon and that problem will then be solved.   Lewies is also bound to return soon and will partner Oosthuizen.   Then there is Stevens - pity Marne is not back to take over there.
Mozart must take his tablets immediately - chances are that most of the over 30's and  other loafers may yeat frind themselves in the wilderness.
The card specialists must beware - there shenanigans within the team and lack of performance could be to their detriment.

What you have missed is the fact that almost the entire leadership has been "wiped out" in the last few weeks to such an extent that they have to rely on "useless geriatric" Marco Wentzel. You are always quick to have stabs at the Bulls. Meanwhile your own team and their set-up is so stuffed up that one can only laugh at them.

 Time for the wipe-out was overdue and the captaincy of Wentzel is only temporary.  I am not worried at all.
When ego-centrics like Matfield is involved the whole system goes pear-shaped - others have to do the hard grind - while they takes the plaudits for themselves.     Time for at least some cleaning up at the Bulls are also overdue - three names in particular needs attention - Ouma Victoria Matfield, Jane (ex Tarzan) Spies  and Useless Penalty Machine Stegmann spring to mind.  

 This thread is about the Sharks. Not the I did not expect you to try and dodge the bullet by jumping into the Bulls again. Your typical lowlife strategy, not so ou ProphetMike?

 Not sure what the dolt wants in this case.   I am perfectly happy since the Sharks started to clean up the mess they find themselves in.  Pity they could not go further because of injuries to key players.  
Insofar as the Sharks is concerned - three players got red-carded and long bans from playing.   Mallett said something interesting tonight.  He said that the players like Bismarck and Frans Steyn seems to be in a bad temper whenever they play because their performances are not up to standard.   
He specifically referred to the fact that it is not confined to one game and I would like to mention in this regard to the Bismarck-Matfield incident and the way Francois  Steyn played in the Stormers game.   What he did mention is their tendency to play illegally because they react negatively to situations where they were on the receiving end.
Ego-centric players not producing the goods have a detrimental impact on the team as a whole.
I mentioned the Bulls as having a similar problem with the useless three players I mentioned.   Move those three out - and the team spirit increases and it can only hve a beneficial affect of the team as a whole.

Bismark, Steyn and Deysel are banned. Lambie and JP are injured. Jannie and Beast are being rested because if they did play this game they would have to sit out the home game against the Bulls next week due to the SARU agreement. SP Marais is also being rested as he has played 8 in a row. In fact the only player being dropped for poor performance  is Cooper.
So where is this "clean up" you talk about?

The players "rested" has been sub-par most of the season and is part of the problem in the team.   The banned players are the cause of a lot of problems in the team and what Mallett and even Alberts said is correct.  At least Bismarck and Steyn suffers from super-egos - they think they are so important to the team to allow for them to be dropped from the team so their personal performance is not an issue insofar as they are concerned.   
The problem is that the Sharks got themselves into a situation where too many players are playing on reputation and that in itself leads to team deficiency.   The sooner these senior players are brought down to earth the better it will be for the team.   Maybe then they would start playing rugby and stop trying to address their personal rugby problems on the field of play collecting red and yellow cards in the process.
Sad to say - but players like the Du Plessis brothers have lost their effectiveness as players - probably because of advancing years - and Fransie is not a player of any value - bar perhaps at full back.  Plumtree was 100% correct when he identified that problem.   
The Sharks are not the team they used to be in 2012 - even their 2014 showing was a false mirage and became reality not because they were so good, but because the other SA franchises  were so poor.
