Abs reaffirm their status as the most dominant rugby team of the past 30 years. A bit of a break, I think we need a break from Rugby lol. Then it is super Rugby 2016! Looking forward to that season. Well done to Aussie, they were worthy foes, thought we were looking at 40 pt win, then Smith went off and Aussie came back. Also condolences to the Boks, got some good players. I think you need to get rid of the deadweight. I think Jannie Du Pleesi needs to go, so does Louwe. Matfield hopefully. Invest in Lood and Steph, and Estebeth. I think the reason the abs are so good, is top to bottom their game is all on the same level. From Club to international, I think their are major issues. I did congratulate New Zealand first on their brilliant win - the first thread posted on the issue on this site.   But now we have a 3,5 month wait for further SH rugby.  A Boring period in which in SA we will get some NH rugby broadcast - but that is of such a low standard it normally is a pain in the wrong part.
I am going to work hard on the Fantasy competitions next year and am certainly going to take note of the list of players provided by you.  
Some of the point cows of this year will be super-expensive next year and so will Nene Milner-Skudder be.  
I think that in my short-list for next year will be the following players in the cheaper range:-
Argentina
Likely going to be dirt cheep.  
Santiago CorderoNicholas SanchezTomas CubelliAugustin Creevy
As I see the situation - with only one team from Argentina they will have a near to test side in the competition and give all other franhise teams uphill in the competition.
South Africa
Harold VorsterVenter (scrummie of the Cheetahs)Jaco KrielPieter-Steph du ToitFrans Malherbe
A heck of a lot of the golden oldies will be gone.  I regularly selected some from New Zealand and none from SA - so there will be gaps to fill.
Hope to see you around during the break - a rather boring time for all where the personal  insults increase and Beeno remodel the tests outcomes.

That's true Wardad, those NH teams sneaky ones skipped the abs. England, Wales, IReland need a hiding . Serious though, see results for Fantasy WC. I did much better in the end, I ended up first in my Public Group, and sixth in our Ruckersforum Group, considering where I was big improvement. Like the abs I timed my run . It felt like the final NZ still had at least 4 games in them, amazing really. Potential Fantasy Team Fox Sports next year

 It will be a long break from SH rugby The players sure need the time off though. I may be forced to watch NH rugby for a while. I enjoy Ireland & Wales so their games should be good. England have work to do as do France.

That will probably be outside of the allowed budget.   I will go for Milner Skudder, and probably for Cordero/Tuculet as outside backs, with either Folau or Ben Smith as third choice.
We will have to have a good hard look at what Eddie Jones does to De Allende - but he and Fekitoa is going to be very, very expensive.  I would go for Sanchez at flyhalf - he will be good value for money.
Like your loosies though - but if you have financial problems look for Du Toit at lock.
Also look out for Malcolm Marx as a cheap hooker.  Marx is likely to take over as Springbok hooker in the not to distant future.     
I always try and have some cheapies on the bench who will not let me down if they have to play.
As stated the inclusion of Argentina is going to complicate matters - they will have virtually a test team in their set-up - which could complicate matters for other franchises they play against.  We will have to look out for some of their players and the few I mentioned may just be the ones to pick in Super Rugby Fantasy.

Not sure the situation would not change after Pichot announced that no p[layer playing outside of Afgentna will in future figure in the Argentine test team.  Anyway you remain a top guy - thanks for the info.

 Correct me if I am wrong don't Japan have a team in the comp too? Looking forward to the Fox Sports one starting up again. I enjoyed Dream Team Herald. But I think I prefer the Fox Sports format.


OB could be Imhoff, Skudder, Lam


Ben Lam was the leading try scorer of the Itm Cup over here. But he is in the Blues haha, but could score well.

Japan also have a team - but their clubs seems to be reluctant to release players for that comp and there is no certainty as to who would ultimately be in their SR squad.
There is also no finality in the Argentina squad as Brycy pointed out so clearly.
Until there is clarity on those two issues we will have a problem in identifying and using players from those two franchises in our Fantasy teams.  I did not mention Imhoff because he is unlikely to play for the Argentinian franchise.      

There are going to be so many new boys around - even in the NZ and SA squads and there is also a fact that three of the SA franchise coaches has been sacked/replaced that could impact on team selection and playing styles. 
Some of our selections will only become clearer when the teams are being announced for the first round and even then we would likely have little info on the players concerned since most would only have ITM and CC performances as a guideline.  Nothing much will be known from teh Argentinians and Japanese other than performance in the WC.    
Another issue is that the SA players will realize that their potential future selection to the Springbok team will be influenced by the Super Rugby performances and that is going to be interesting as well.

 99 days to go before the commencement of Super Rugby next year.   In my caulation Christmas day would eb the day when half of the days will in fact be the day when we are halfway there.  Will kwep an update on a weekly basis.

We should also take note of who is going to play 7's this year and be out of Super Rugby.  I think Williams and De Allende are two of those.   That may effect our Fatasy selections.

 I thank GOD for the ABs win. Also thankful all the 4 Teams in the Semi-Finals deserved to be there with England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland out. The 4 Home Nations could have scrapped through by default which would have been a loss for running rugby and the Webb Ellis Spirit.
