Tonga is a very long shot but so was Japan...small sides have the heart and are hungry...top sides relax their defences...this is WC rugby and we know we never learn... come on Friendly Isles and show your'e a great little island with guts of a lion.

The difference is that Japan have speed and skills. They are much more dangerous than Tonga in that respect. Tonga is the opposite of Fiji, lesser attacking skills but on the higher end of the physicality spectrum. Samoa is in that medial range. Tonga's best bet is to drag the game into a slugfest, from there they can be very disruptive. However, as I saw from the scoreline, that didn't happen.
