The Pumas will be without captain Agustín Creevy, Juán Imhoff and Juán Martín Hernández when they face off against South Africa in the Rugby World Cup third-place play-off.
All three have been ruled out with injuries after the Pumas suffered a 29-15 loss against the Wallabies in the semi-final on Sunday.
Creevy limped off with a hamstring strain, Hernandez suffered a rib injury and Pumas talisman, Imhoff took a blow to the head, which saw him leave the field soon after.
Los Pumas, however will be keen to pull one over the Boks at the Olympic Stadium on Friday.
