There's been a lot of praise by articles and by the public
on the Springbok front row. The front row was solid against
NZ and AUS recently however the bok scrum may not be consistent
against teams that can scrum well, so why should we all be
convinced?

Argentinians and Northern teams are destined to become a force
in scrums. It will be problematic for the boks, especially at crucial
time in the RWC.

The footage below speaks for itself. It's the bok front row getting demolished, just like in S15 this year.

Well usefully Jerome at the end of your clip, there are clips of the Bargies doing exactly the same thing to Oz and the ABs. Is that also the sharks front rows fault. Or is it just possible the Bargies are decent scrummagers and there is no Bok front row that will do better against them.
Once again we don't see the ABs saying Franks should be discarded because of that one experience. Thanks for helping to destroy the point you were trying to make.

No - the Australian and AB scrums did not disintegrate in tests against Argentina last year the way the Springbok scrum did.  It was only when Malherbe came on replacing Jannie that the Springbok scrum became more stable - a fact you tried your standard denial on - but that was true.
The acid test for Jannie after two tests of solid scrums against the Aussies and the AB's following upon a year of poor to questionable scrumming in tests and Super 15 would have been against the Argentinians, but he is out of those tests as a result of injury.  So we would not know what will happen in the games where Jannie will play in future? I am not sure about that and neither can you be sure.

Jerome have you ever heard of illegal scrumming. John Smit and others mentioned this after the Argies game. Wyatt crocked of the wee abs can look good when allowed to scrum illegally. Normally he is your typical pap nz prop. Our sharks front row will be fine. We also know Kitshoff and Malherbe ruled the Super 15. However I will grant you Nh scrumming is not pap like nz or oz.

Yep I remember that test......Jannie got his arse kicked in a big way and Malherbe came on and restored some Bok dignity.

Once again proving he is better than Jannie

"Jerome have you ever heard of illegal scrumming."

Jerome, I'm also very surprised that you never heard about illegal scrumming if you visit this site regularly. You just have to read what Mr. Been and other hooligans here usually write.
Everytime the boks or a SA side are pushed backwards, or just beaten, at scrummtime is illegal scrumming. It's very easy, you should know it.

Malherbe fell flat on his face in every scrum he was involved in against the Bargies. Jannie went back because our whole scrum went back.....but maintained his spine angle well throughout.

moz is right, that video shows just one scrum, which doesn't show the whole picture.

The following is the video that shows the "Truth about Springbok front row" last year. It shows all the scrums of the match in Argentina and how in ALL of them the boks were pushed backwards reaching in some of them (e.g. at around 43' match time in a textbook tighthead) backward-speeds near to the World record. Someting the argies coudn't repeat against the Oz or the AB.
In that match the boks won just 2 of their 6 own feeded scrums for an awesome 33% success (and obviously none of the 3 argies' scrums) something also very far form what the aussies and AB did.

Yep this myth that Malherbe fixed our scrum is horribly exposed.. There wasn't one scrum where he wasn't flat on his face. And in the scrum at 63.11 he was totally cracked for a penalty.

Nope Malherebe did not fall flat on his face, both frontrows did that......just like the whole Boks scrum went backwards when Jannie was at 3, both frontrows went down when Malherbe was on board.

Difference is, when the frontrows did not go down, Malherbe stood firm.....there was no retreating Bok scrum as was the case when Jannie was at 3.

Therein lies the difference

He did and that's a FACT.....the Bok scrum improved 10 fold when he replaced Jannie and that's a Fact.....it was in that test that Malherbe announced his entrance to test rugby.

He is still a baby and is already better than Jannie.....same can be said for a number of young tightheads we have.

Sadly we have an ignorant coach who thinks 30 is the new 20

 Seuntjies
Malherbe was at least twice firm in scrums - not in full retreat like Jannie was at all times.  Lies are not acceptable - this is embarrassing.

Firm? You mean the Argies squeezed his head into his rotund frame? Interesting perspective! Though it must be said, with allegations of pervertedness, you best word yoyrself differently. And that's a FACT! LMAO!!!

You were the one who said Mozart has to play with toys against his will. And that dominating him is a turn on for you. Like I said, be more careful with your words! ROFLMAO!!!
