Is he really better than Jantjies? Is he really better suited to test rugby than Bosho ff or Catrakillis? I rather doubt that. Here's a reminder of how the wonderkind destroyed our EOYT.

On current form Jantjies is ahead of Lambie

What about Morne only getting 32 votes - do you realize that most South Africans have realized how useless he really is.

A specialist 10 will be ahead of Lambie, for he is a fullback. Why persist with the fullback at 10?

Pfffffhahahaha! Yes, everybody else is stupid and you're right, LeTwat.
What an arrogant tosser!
Listen LeTwat or Dim Sum or Alutwat or whatever you're calling yourself these days, your irrational hatred of Patrick Lambie and the fact that you blame him for every loss, every missed tackle or poor kick . . . and you probably blame him for load-shedding, AIDS and global warming too . . . but either way, it all means that you have zero credibility when it comes to Lambie so rather shut your stupid face and stop bitching about him in every post you make because while it was once funny, it's now just becoming boring and repetitive.
I shudder to think what caused this hatred . . . I'm guessing your boyfriend once said Lambie had a cute butt and you exploded in a jealous rage. That would be my guess.
The Springboks have two world-class flyhalves to choose from. One of them is Patrick Lambie. Just deal with it and stop spouting your tedious and vitriolic drivel all over this board. Thanks!

I updated the figures just now and the above shows remarkable increases for Pollard and Lambie - and only a marginal increase of 5 votes for Morne, while the ote for Goosen increased by 8. Goosen is likely to overhaul Morne soon.
How any reasonable person can attack a player like Lambie constantly and claim Morne is the best flyhalf available for Springbok selection shows a serious deficiency in mental capacity - so I am really sorry for Letsal, his thinking is totally bent.

If this was 2016 and I was Saffex, I would have voted J ean Luc du Plessis!

It's highly unlikely at this point that Goosen will succeed at 10. He is a 15.
Pollard and Morné are our top two. Next is Boshoff, then catrakillis. Boshoff can at least can handle himself physically which makes test rugby a possibility. Jantjies is a smarter player than a lot of our 10s but can be blown away when playing the big boys. He had immense trouble against New Zealand and the Barbarians throttled him to the point where even Peter discarded him! So, until he proves that things are different now, he will be 5th on my list.

I posted a video of every attacking movement involving Goosen, and every defensive situation. It was a very scary sight seeing a Bok floundering out there like that. You can see what I'm talking about here:
1.Attack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0N5iFUWeq8
2.Defence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFYiB4r3Vwo
His best qualities have a place at 15, not 10.

To be fair, he was injured before he tried making those try saving tackles against the ABs

He was injured part of the way through the game, but is there evidence that things would be different were he not? Look at the Dunedin and Aussie tests, he was blown away. He had no physical impact in any contact situation. It was like watching a small child trying to bring down a polar bear.

Abit like watching the current Chiefs halve back and flyhalve

The problem here is not Goosen - but Mornetjie. Where should he play? He is good enough at flyhalf to earn a bench position at Stade Francais, but not good enough to earn one at full back. So one has to assume that he is only a flyhalf - a very poor one at that.
Morne is not "blown away" as Letsal says of Goosen - he is just ignored by any team he plays against.

I would say it is between Ben Smith, Israel Folau and Brown - but would not want to make any specific selection - since they all have good points.

Michael and Peter, the only two numbskulls to consider Morné at 15!
