Anyone who would dispute that Fijians are the most naturally gifted runners and attackers simply doesn't know rugby. But then, you are the one who backed Lambie, Reinach, JJ, Taute, Serfontein, Murray, Pretorius, Josh Strauss, Watson and a host of other embarrassing calls. So why would I expect you to know anything about another countries players. You probably couldn't even pick Fiji out on a map.

Your calls are embarrassing. Between Lambie and JJ we were blown away on an EOYT, got knocked out of a World cup and blew a Rugby Championship title. LMAO! Not embarrasing enough for you? Your top prize by a mile is Juan De Jongh. You rugby knowledge is daft too - JJ never played in any EOYT, and Lambie was not to blame for the match loss against Wales. The losers were the forwards - with the Physical deficient Matfield in the lead. What a collection of flops/duds you support LMAO

Now you say that our coach was useless but you deny that Lambie and Rienach had a part in that, or Goosen for that matter, and that is where your argument falls to pieces. Earlier was Serfontein with an intercept. The other was Willie with a masterful display as he drew in two defenders and sent Reinach away for a belly flop try. At what point did Lambie and Reinach win that test? They were a liability throughout, but Reinach did do a few good things to at least try and redeem himself. Matfield was all over the field, was massive on defence and clearing rucks. Highest workrate of all our forwards that day.

On Matfield. Fine player and he should be in the squad and even in the match 23, but on the bench. He served SA well, but really, if he started his career in 2008 or later, he never would have made it as a lock. Our last 3 Bok coaches were all reluctant to pick openside flankers less than 105kg's. That's why Brussouw was and still is overlooked. Yet, they all pucked Matfield, taller and weighing in at 107kg's for the last 6 or more years. Now he is 38 yo and still runs with the dogs. Yes he adds value, but also hamper us in certain areas. We should not have been a position where he was still this vital to the cause, and the longer he remains the first choice at 5, the more we will struggle to move on when he finally calls it quits. Yes Meyer urged him to return and yes, he still adds vallue...in the short run, but he is responsible for creating a vacuum in leadership and at lock and I can't help thinking that ego and vanity plays a big part in him still hanging around.
